Hi all, well not been round for abit, debts not going too well at the mo, but hopefully should get back on track in the next few months. Been on abit of a downer tbh, but just got to remember that there's always someone else worse off!! Got to borrow more money in the new year, one to get some much needed repairs done to the house & the other reason is something that we have wanted to do for years, but the debts have got in the way!! I know we shouldn't be adding to debts but it is something that we don't have all the time in the world to wait for. Going to draw up a strict budget & stick to it to enable us to 'follow our dream'!! Thanks for reading & back soon, keep chipping away!!
Sorry things aren't too great at the moment. I think sometimes you've just got to live haven't you. If you aren't doing it all the time, then a one off won't hurt too much. Go for it! You'll be able to carry on tackling the debts afterwards."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Overweight, drab, shabby clothes and I definitely needed a new bra! I've not bought new clothes for almost 3 years. So I've bought some clothers in the sales. I've also joined the Tony Ferguson diet - available in Boots. So far, I've lost 4lbs, so starting to feel good about myself. I hate myself enough for letting my debts get out of hand - can't let the rest of myself go as well.
What was different with this "shopping spree" was that I went with a notebook and calculator and worked everything out before hand and immediately updated my online spending diary before I even tried my clothes on!
Well done on losing the 4lb, that is a great start! What is the Tony Ferguson diet? I have LOADS of weight to lose!
Well done on the control with the shopping too, that's very restrained!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -

Hi Happy, not too bad thanks, it's a slow month this month as I'm a bit skint. How's it going with you?
I'm including my normal payments in my PAD amount in the hope it will shock me into keeping motivated - the huge amounts I am paying to my debts could all be mine!! (and will be one day!)"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -
