I had a crap weekend moneywise too. windscreen cracked so had to find the £75 excess to pay for the insurance claim. not a happy mission this week....

Ok, I can't wait any longer - big announcement everyone. i'm going to be a Dad - AGAIN!! Number 2 is on the way! My wife is 9 weeks and had an interim scan as she was a bit concerned how she felt. Everything is fine and the baby is well. Due date is 16th November!

Well, thats galvanised things even further. The contents of my loft must die! EVERYTHING goes on ebay. I must clear at least one card by the time the newborn arrives. My target is my current hated card - Capital One - which has £4200 on it. I think it should be possible.

I only found out a few weeks ago, and have been dying to tell everyone but had to wait til we knew everything was ok. Don't quite know how to feel about it yet - very excited and completely terrified all at once. Sleepless nights, here we go again!

great news Talisker, start stockpiling sleep now!!!

Thanks to everyone for all your kind messages. Still terrified!

Making progress on those cards already - sold a CD on ebay today for 99p. Only another 4242 of those to sell and the card is cleared. Shouldn't be too hard..... hmmmmm.

Don't worry about falling off the bandwagon PDD. Its not really falling off - it is something essential. Not like buying a nice pair of rubber tights that you really fancied....I'm saying this out loud aren't I?! Moving on.....

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Thanks for making me laugh Talisker! I now have an image of you skipping around in rubber tights, laughing and whooping as your wife rolled her eyes and told you you were going to be a daddy again :D.

More than happy to help you beat that Capital One card into submission!

And, as PPD pointed out, start stock piling on the sleep while you still have a chance ;).
