Hi all!! Well not much to post really apart from things aren't going too bad considering for us! Overtime being cut down at work but we still seem to be managing to clear quite abit of debt, just through being sensible with what little cash we have spare. It is tough though, as it seems that we struggle to get by for 3 weeks of the month & have one good week when OH gets paid!! We'll keep plodding along & are really looking forward to when the weather gets abit better, so we can get out more in the fresh air. This year we are going to replace days in the pub garden with walks in the countryside taking a picnic with us!! Yes we will have the odd day at the pub, but this will be the odd time rather than most weeks!!

Ok, I've hauled out all my paperwork and am about to get a cuppa and go through it all, filing it away sensibly and acting on anything that need attention now!

Just come off the phone to Northern Rock with current balances on my mortgage and unsecured loan (it's this unsecured loan that I want rid off before anything else as it's tied into the mortgage and until it's gone I'm on SVR and can't move elsewhere)

Hunting for the paperwork on the HFC loan to get updated balance on that too...

Hence the paperwork clear out! Once it's all done - no more excuses - it's time for me to post an updated SOA :D

Sorting the paperwork is taking way longer than anticipated - mainly because I've discovered I'm a bit of a pedant and things have to be in the right order :D

And also because I've been writing letters to cancel cards or unused accounts as I go along :) . With a bit of luck and strong will, by the time I get to the end, it'll all be clearer and very much in order (I just have to learn to keep it that way!!)

It's very cathartic - and I am now beginning to be able to see the floor again! Once I get through that shredding pile, it'll almost look like a normal living room again :D

Phew, still at it... though have stopped to refuel :D Now trying not to get distracted by Relocation, Relocation - it's gonna be a tough call!

But on the plus side, I've three letters ready to be sent to close old accounts and a much smaller than anticipate "to do" list for telephone calls tomorrow.

It won't be long before I can change my sig, yay!

And no, I haven't forgotten the SOA - getting there! I'm aiming to have it up by Friday. If you don't see it, feel free to chasten me! :rotfl:
