Thanks ISOM, I think that's my problem I'm an all or nothing gal in most things in my life and I need to try to relax a bit and face this as more of a long haul rather than a quick fix
I can budget quite well as in I plan spending for the month, then may go over slightly on the shopping so as it gets to the last week of the month, find we have nothing left in the account so end up using the cards!
A few months ago me and hubby decided to open our own single accounts, just have the joint account for all the normal household bills and our own money in our own accounts and take responsibility each for our debts
whilst going through everything today I notice that he is just paying minimum on everything, hasn't even bothered opening his bills but has also been spending a bit on his most expensive CC aswell so the balance on that now stands at £50 more than it was in March!, I am so mad!!!!
So I think I am going to have to take control again which I didn't want to do as I get fed up of having to take control of everything in our house but hey ho
have adjusted the sig to include his debts now
On the plus side, I have just paid off 2 of our overdrafts so now we only have the one, wahey!!!!Aug GC £63.23/£200, Total Savings £00 -

So easy to fall isnt it?
Soarly tempted to refinance to a lower payment but them saw sense and realised it would add up to a couple of thousand extra in interest.
Welcome back MM:j0 -

yes really mad at hubby as all his cards have had their apr's increased to at least 20% now because the stupid man has just been making minimum payments the last few months, and we can't get a BT deal due to the amount we owe, it really galls you when you pay £180 off a Natwest Visa to find £155 of that is interest!!!!Aug GC £63.23/£200, Total Savings £00
