    Thanks ISOM.

I know it is ups and downs, I'm glad I realised when I did and stopped burying my head in the sand. Some ups are due I hope and if not, well never mind!

Hi all! Well been reading a few of your posts & I agree, getting a loan to clear CC debts is so tempting. At the moment our brains are working overtime with paying for wedding etc. Going to get this year out the way & see how much progress we can make between September & the end of the year & then decide if the loan is worth going for. We could get a loan that would clear the CC debts & pay my Mum off which would reduce our outgoings by around £150 a month. It is a loan for 8% APR from Tesco over 10 years at £300 a month. Typed the same amount into the snowball calculator & we would be DF in 125 months, but would pay alot more interest in the process. As I say not going to do anything drastic yet, but if we feel it is the right thing to do for us we will go for it. I know consolidation is a big no no but just fed up of getting 3% fees every time we BT or getting refused new CC deals. Whatever way we look at it, we can't see us clearing our debts for at least the next 10 years. Hpe everyone else is ok. KP chin up & i know it's rich coming from me, but try to stay motivated! All the best to all!!

ok I'm gonna be a bit firm with us all.. Loans are not the answer...how many of us started like that - spend too much, take out a loan and spend too much. Its a bit like loosing weight - the ony way to do it is less spending and more paying off. Simples! Not painles but definately simple! I for one am really going to make an effort. I've been rubbish lately - buying breakfast and lunch at work, bits and bobs mostly but quite a few of them so time to stopp faffing and start paying. Anyone want to join me?!!
