Cheers Keeping Positive - I will look at that tool. As for that ankle - as physio's husband I have to say "Do your exercises!".

Hi Stan73,
I'm a newbie here too, works wonders for the motivation on the down days.
We had bad news on the car last week, always something trying to stop us paying off debts!
You're so right Keeping Positive, I definitely feel more tortoise than hare. Actually, is there something slower than a tortoise that I could be?!:rolleyes:0 -
only thing that matters stan 73 is direction debt is going---downwards.it may seem slow/neverending and no light end of tunnel.but like a diet a slowly but surely is better than fast an failing.
you get set-backs un-forscene bills---even horror thinking--im giving up.
this thread has showed me it can be done.
i only post yearly figures

Hello,
Fairly new to all this. Had my lightbulb moment. Now £47,000 unsecured debts. Struggling to pay them but maanging so far. Am definitely in this for the long run - anyhting up to 10 years. Horrible thought but I have to face up to it.
Just wanted to say to everyone keep the faith - we'll get there in the end. Hopefully!!! I'm so glad I've found this site its given me so much knowing I'm not on my own and I can always come here for support when things get bad. Which, as i'm just at the start of my debtbusting - I'm sure they will!

talisker did you want a longhauler number?
Hello all...been a week and a half with some painful/hard realisations. The main one being that I have been increasing my cc so have had a rethink on strategy and a plan is afoot. Basically because I always took account of the loan payments the debt was seemingly going down but cc been going up so with the help of the lovely weezl have a new strategy...no cc's, limited budget and pay of and make as much as I can! Seems so simple doesent it eh! Always good to have a rethink too...
