Hi - it looks like this is the thread for me!

I've got a DFD in 2013 at the moment, it seems a long way away but I've been in debt one way or another for over twenty years so what's another five eh?

I did an intro here: http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=948407&highlight=billy-no-money but there's so much going on it soon dropped off the board!

My debts come down to variously: divorce, cars, bikes, gadgets, lack of budgeting, failing to admit to my wife that I couldn't afford things (we keep our finances separate because of step families, maintenance etc) and not saying 'No' to my ex's demands. So pretty normal then.

How do I get a number?

Good morning to you all and welcome to the new long haulers. If it is any consolation there are many of us that will be paying of the debts for years and years, in my case I still probably be paying them after I've retired! Know that we have faced up to our debts and are working to clear them, the only way is up. Positive mental attitude! although sometimes it is easier to be negative. Have a lovely weekend to you all.

Finaly got some interest in the car. Said they were coming back yesterday evening but nothing? Only live around the corner so hopefully they will come around today.

Got a ad prepared for ebay so if no news from them today I will list later for 10 days. Another £14 spent :eek:

Hi Wendy, no nothing on the car front, we've had people phone up to say they want to look at it, then nothing, not even the decency to let us know they are not coming, when we specifically wait in for them. OH and I are going to talk about what we are going to do about it this weekend, hope you better luck than us.

Really annoying isnt it?

I was shattered yesterday really wanted to sleep but stayed awake (survived till about 9.30) just waiting for them to show up. I hope they are still interested. As they are around the cormer they could have called just to arrange another time or even rang so I am worried they have changed their minds.

It is really annoying and manners cost nothing, that is one of my bug bears. i guess that at the moment in the current financial climate anyone interested in buying a car has too many to pick from and can make a really good deal as there are probably many of us desparately trying to sell their cars.
