Thanks for the number, have amended sig accordingly. Does anyone have any suggestions for how I can really give a debt wake up call to my OH. He has kind of woken up to it, but I'm sure we could up our debt repayments to £100 per month without too much tweaking, however he is always reluctant to do so as he thinks we will be worse off and missing on even more. I cant think of what else we would miss out on given our poor state of affairs!0

We dont buy things like papers, magazines we have as subscriptions as birthday/Xmas presents from family members and we already do the cheap shopping, cooking from scratch, I suppose what I want is for my OH to be as concerned as I am, he is happy to leave it all up to me at times and doesnt seem to always take it as seriously as me.0

I know where your coming from,as my OH didn't used to be as concerned as me either, but is now just as concerned as me & tries to make our cash stretch as much as possible. Could you meet OH halfway & suggest you pay £80 for the time being. As others have said,it is really important to take things slowly,or it will get you & OH down if you don't treat yourselves now & again. Good luck, back tomorrow, please let us know how it goes.Debt at LBM(July 1st 07)-£35,053.92 Debt on 1st Anniversary of LBM(July 1st 08)-£33,170.11 (31st January 09)-£32,318.73Paid off so far £2,735.19(7.8%) Average paid off p.m. £143.95 L/H supporter 115 DFD target February 2018 DFD March 2028.
