please can i join you i have tomorrow and Saturday off work hoping to get on top of everything before im back in work on sunday, hope everyone is well


Magnificent Monday - Kitchen and dining room
Sweep and mop the floor
Wipe and replace small appliances
Clean oven
Wash windows and sills
Wipe the table and chairs... clean cloth if necessary
Degunge the fridge!
Thoroughly clean the cupboard full of tins!
Run the WM's and DW's through a clean cycle
Clean all the filters and door seals etc
Wipe a shelf or 3 and staighten all the stuff on them.

Twinkly Tuesday ~ master bedroom and landing
Make the bed...
Clear the floordrobe
Dust and deweb
Wash the windows
Vacuum the floors.. and the mattress before remaking the bed
Strip and wash the bedding
Wipe any grotty paintwork and furniture
Check those smoke alarms!
Binbag dance
15 minutes filing
Fill a binbag of old winter stuff for charity shop!!
15 minutes in the garden dead heading or pruning

Wednesday Wonders ~ Cruddy Study & Bathrooms
Declutter floors!
Mop/vacuum/sweep floors
Scrub tiles while running a defrag
Clean the bath, basins, shower trays and loo's
Collect all the laundry from upstairs
Wash windows
Wash bath mats/shower curtains etc
Degrot the desk and dust and polish the monitor and pc case etc
Empty and wash out bins
Wipe all the sofas/chairs in these rooms
Wipe paintwork in these rooms
Clear and wipe a shelf or two

Thursdays are Trilling!! - Living pit, hallway, stairs!!
Declutter the floors!
Vacuum/mop floors
Wash the windows and the front door.. inside and out!
Vacuum under the furniture you can safely move!
Clean the sofas
Declutter the inside of a cupboard or drawer!
Wipe all the paintwork!
Wash any smelly soft furnishings
Get a pile of filing done!!

I know my card details. And have just looked suitably alarmed at Himself happily brandishing a new contactless bank card. Not because I have a problem with them, but because he just looked too damn happy about it, as the old one didn't work in a lot of places due to overuse *chip and pin only, with a dodgy chip) - which saved money.

Decluttered one 13 hour day today. It's a new record - last time there was a big event, I was on the point of walking out with an 'And you can stick your ****ing job' by 4.48pm. Today, it was 1.06pm. But the offers of various teenagers to thump the person making my life a misery cheered me up immensely, as they'd noticed without me saying a single word - which gives me hope for their futures, as they are observant and relatively sensitive towards others.

Been told I can come in later tomorrow because it's another late finish. Which is good, but it's not going to touch the amount of overtime I've done already. But the complete screwup at five to five with the only people able to sort it happily on their way home over an hour previously completely vindicates something I had said was essential to be sorted by last week.


Himself is just sorting out another takeaway because, apparently, I need to eat. Try telling that to work, as my packed lunch has been sat next to a radiator all day and is now being binned before it kills me off.


I can't wait for Easter. At least when you have your own, you do kind of like them and any unpleasant habits or attitudes are largely your own fault, one way or another. But when you're dealing with other people's, you have no say in whether it's normal to throw food on the floor, beat others around the face if they sit in the identical chair that another has decided is theirs at all costs, help themselves to other people's property or urinate over the seat and floor of a disabled toilet because it's 'not fair' that the kids' loos are covered in S*** and P***, blood and sanitary products before they've had the opportunity to cover them with the same substances.

Jojo.. I don't like mine.. One has been upchucking for 6 days, one has spent all day defecating and is now snotting, another has a school trip tomorrow and I think they should be banned, I hate school trips. One has bugs AGAIN!! .. Another has a baby due in 18 days and is moving house in 10!!! Several won't stop talking and they have bickered all evening.. they are now on an ipad ban until a week on Saturday they now have an xbox ban until Monday.. I cannot abide bickering.

I have 5 rooms to decorate as soon as and a plug socket being fitted in the morning. I have a nail fix in the morning too.. and OH is at work 10-9...

Yeah.. I don't much like my family today..

However, it is Friday soon and I get to pay lots of bills.. I love paying bills and watching the balances decrease.

Just try dealing with 30 of the beggars all bickering in one room. Add in a scuffle and up to another 45 more charging in to view the entertainment.

Howdy y'all

Gentle day yesterday as it was a significant sad anniversary for me. I snoozed, ate and bumbled (great description) about until school pick up, then cooked a mighty fine roast chicken dinner...even if I do say so myself...

I even played dominoes with Tiny. His Gruffalo set, natch.

DH worked late, so I got to watch the last episode of Altered Carbon which was brilliant. I feel I'm a soul born either 500 years to early, or 300 years too late. Can't decide which lol.

My small people break up the end of next week for Easter. I've booked Small into football club camp for the whole fortnight, so just need to [STRIKE]farm out[/STRIKE] entertain Tiny.

Ooh, I did Hoover the ENTIRE ground floor yesterday. Forgot about that. *proud*

More fling bumble done in the living room last night and this morning :j - switched to a pile of DS's gibble and I've just found 95 euros :money: Good thing I'm [STRIKE]fanatical[/STRIKE] pedantic about keep/recycle/shred/bin and didn't just consign the entire envelope containing last year's travel insurance - single trip - bumph to the bin :eek:

I've put the 'diplomas' DS 'earned' whilst on holiday last year in his room - he was the 'Barbie of Benidorm' apparently

I've topped up my Mother's Day flowers with water, and I'll feed the birds and put out the recycling before I go to work.
