A fling bumble!!
I confess I did not eat 'just a few' pringle, I ate the whole tubeyou are a woman after my own heart pigpen
and a fling bumble is exactly what it is :T
Came home from the paid stuff feeling crackered - but bumbled two of DS's caps from the living room and put them in his room when I went up to get changed, and put three pens into the owl mug on the table by my chair - as from henceforth this is where all pens live (a decree has been issued to that effect).
There will be further bumbling later; I can feel it in my bones

Lunch eaten at home and free parking for work so good
BUT on the way home I caught a pothole or edge of the level crossing and now have a flat tyre, luckily only 200 metres from house so am now waiting for OH to come home and change wheel for me and then tomorrow will have to go and get a new one. Bang goes no spending except food this week

Oh no Pigpen - that's way too early! Can't you see if school will keep them for a week longer
. Sorry to all you lovely teachers desperately in need of the end of term.
That's bad luck, Mademoiselle. At least you weren't too far from home. I play Dodge The Pothole every day atm. They get bigger every day, I swear they will swallow me up one day.
Kicked myself into gear. Finances shuffled. Ensuite and cloakroom cleaned. General detritus moved and rehomed, including some old paperwork consigned to the burning pile. Now trying to muster enthusiasm for turning the contents of the fridge into a dinner.0 -
Arggghhhhh!! I'm feeling LW's despair! DH has "popped into the shops" on his way home. His list says bananas, carrots and broccoli. Surely not too difficult. So why is he texting me to say shall he get fish? And beansprouts?:mad:0
-
Fayolle.. maybe he fancies fish and beansprouts and not those other things... Why are they so dippy?? We have decided to have guesses at what extras OH will bring home.. he is good for a giggle. And teachers do not need time off.. they have only had to put up with our little darlings for 5 weeks... and they don't have to do mealtimes or bedtimes.. those are the bits I hate.
I lost my cool with OH this morning... 8:43 and 7 minutes to get the girls the 4 minute drive to school if the road is clear.. so he bumbles back into the house leaving the 3 girls strapped into their car seats to faff about with Pixies PE bag to piffle on about a letter she had brought out of school on Monday... I DON'T FREAKING CARE.... GET THE GIRLS TO SCHOOL!!! Honestly... why?!?! nothing is urgent or important or needs to be done in a timely manner.. he drives me crazy sometimes with his bumbling about.. and he gets it from his dad who is very much a bumbler too! I very calmly explained to him I really need him to hurry it up a bit because I hate starting every day yelling because noone has any sense of urgency.
He has now flounced upstairs because I asked him to shower the girls and pointed out it is nearly 7pm ( with the implication he needs to do it now and quickly ) cue slamming of Xbox controller (because that is clearly more important) and stomping upstairs like a 15 year old.. and stropping into the bathroom chuntering like an old grumpy puss... He hasn't showered them for 2.5 weeks... it isn't like I ask him every single day!

Hi all
Soooo tired tonight. Have read through but my brain is a fog. Madly busy at both jobs today and straight from one to the other without a break. I swear I didnt get this tired a year ago.
But DH has not worked today and if the forecast is right it looks like he wont work tomorrow either so its down to me to earn some money.
Signing off, jim jams on, hoping my menfolk have left the kitchen tidy or there will be trouble.0 -
