My office colleague will be stunned tomorrow - desk clearer than it's been for weeks and I have dusted it.
Reminds me of one time Mr LW cleared out the computer supplies cupboard at work; he ditched a myriad broken keyboards, cables that either no-one knew what they were for, or they definitely didn't fit any of the current equipment, and a tonne of other junk. His colleagues commented that he was being very thorough, and his comment was "You haven't met my wife; she's positively ruthless!". :rotfl:

He was SOADFA earlier, so he's been put to dust the lounge. ;)

I haven't done quite what I planned this morning, but I have enjoyed myself pottering around in the garden for about an hour and a half. While DH hoovered through downstairs and steam mopped the utility floor :A I potted up some day lilies that were sprouting in their box (they were delivered just before we went away!), moved the veg trug and various pots, swept up loads of leaves, and rearranged the pots so that we cna now reach the downstairs bedroom window to clean it :D Not today, though - it was sunny when I went outside but cold and windy now.

Leftover veg curry is being turned into a soup of sorts for lunch. Plan for this afternoon is a few zzz (we had another heavy college evening yesterday and I am very tired today), followed by walking the dog and finishing off a translation. I might even tidy the study!

Mr LW has now been despatched to @ldi for milk and butter. I normally prefer to go to the SM myself, particularly if I want a whole list of stuff, as he can't always be trusted to get the right things; but surely he can't stuff up getting a 6-pint carton of milk and a pat of butter - can he??

:rotfl: You are a brave lady, LW! You know the answer... DH has offered to get the food shopping tomorrow on hus way home. I'm not sure that it is worth the anguish.

Well done Narc0 on getting back to the running. I haven't been since last summer, and am [STRIKE]trying to kid myself[/STRIKE] convinced that walking is just as effective. I went out for along walk this morning in the sun and breeze, but now it is cold and so windy. I have just rescued the washing from the line before it took off and ended up in HB's garden.

A few bits of paperwork have been shuffled, and the calendar updated. The rest of March is a write off, and so is much of April. How can we be so busy when we don't actually do anything??

I have a list of errands as long as your arm (including 2 bags for the chazzer) for this afternoon while I am waiting for DD to do her volunteering stint. It might be a push to get it all done in the hour's car park, plus grab some essential food bits. Then it will be back, do my volunteering, then flop.

Mmm, LW you do know that MrPigpen managed to buy a nail gun and drill in Li@l? Not holding out much hope myself.

Sounds like everyone is making the most of the weather. I have cycled to work and back (padded shorts Dizzy). Washing is out. Paid stuff to do next before I have to pick DS up.

Ebay parcel to post, cheques to bank, stamps to buy, milk and bread needed. Chicken, leek and ham pie for tea.

Sorted out 4 boxes of 'crafting item' (when did I last do crafting??,) any way the 4 boxes are now 2, as the rubbish is gone.
Sorted out bank as they sent a direct debit back to me..............why, just pay it.
Council tax bill arrived today for 2018/2019 so set up Standing order to pay that, other wise I will forget.
Hoovered out car and wiped it over inside.
Man has been to look at my double glazing windows that have clouded up on the inside, seems they will quote for new ones, lets see how much they are first.

    Sorry to hear that, LW.

OH came with me to the flooring shop and we've ordered the replacement vinyl to deal with a WM flood from about a month ago that will sort out an annoying area of the house. In the process he was let loose in a very odd pile it high and sell it cheap local emporium and managed to buy a carload of complete carp but he's happy and it's his money so I'm not complaining.

Kelpie has discovered the wonders of cow's ears and will never be content with anything else as a treat, I fear.

I'm now exhausted so I'm catching up wih C'leb Bake Off which OH has managed to keep from me - I can't be fagged to read the Radio Times and he usually alerts me to stuff he knows I like but this time, not so much. There will be words about that.
    Better is good enough.
