We're being a little constrained in our choices by how much we're willing to spend at this point. Because this is effectively two rooms knocked into one, the very cheapest carpet is going to cost about £700, including underlay and fitting 🙄 Certainly not willing to spend more than £900 at the absolute outside, so within that budget we're not going to get anything fancy, so it's really about something that will be relatively hard wearing without feeling like an office carpet 😂Fashion on a ration 2025 0/66 coupons spent

Evening everyone.
Cheery, I'm so glad that your builders departed as expected. Hope that the painting party goes well tomorrow.
I di a 30 minute prolific study today and earned myself £3 + £4.22 bonus. And Paypal informed me that I have won £50 (I checked and it seems to be genuine)It's not difficult!

Have a fabulous painting party. I'm hoping to finish the kitchen today, and then work out whether I have enough paint (and energy) to do the furniture that's been hanging around waiting for the last couple of years!

Ooh Cheery, you must be in the middle of the Painting Party right now, hope it's going really well. Orange/grey combo sounds good - pink/grey is very well received, why not orange/grey? Great on the masking thing as well, and I hope you have some time and energy for laughs and a bit of a shindig some time.2023: the year I get to buy a car7

Thanks all 😊 Very pleased you're all enjoying the orange/grey combination - but we're not having it 😂 we're orange and gold, and it felt like the floor needed to be lighter. The colours were all pretty much the same (variously called things like oatmeal, beige etc) so I did a bit of walking between them and have chosen the nicest one to stand on 😁 they're coming to measure up on Wednesday.
Painting party went well! Whole bedroom now has 1st coat on, and one of the walls has a second coat in gold 😁
I'm planning to do a second coat of most of it tomorrow.
Night off tonight though!9 -
I can't wait to see the pictures!9
