Ooh, that recipe does look tasty, and we do have most of those ingredients in, might be a nice tea tonight or tomorrow! 

Sun is shining here, and I've been back out building my never-ending wall... starting hailing though do I've come in for lunch.

Poor old Maud is still with us. She stumbled getting out of the hen house this morning and struggled to get back up, but once I'd righted her she did wander down to the house by herself (very slowly). She's inside in the warm now, just standing. Mr Cheery has set up a little area on the floor with cushions and has been sitting with her all morning, hand feeding her treats 💜

In deliveries news... I had a notification that my replacement bra is on the way (hooray indeed), and I rang up about my replacement greenhouse glass as it's been nearly 3 weeks and their website says normally 5 days, with currently 5 day delay. Apparently it'll be leaving them in a couple of days. Getting there!

😥 I don't think Maud will still be with us in the morning, and if she is we'll be taking a one way trip to the vets I think 😥 Mr Cheery has spent the whole day pretty much lying on the floor near her, tempting her to eat, making soothing chicken noises, but the last couple of hours she's gone really downhill 😥

We took her up to the run with the others, and she did have a bit of a peck around at some food with them, then took herself off to bed, and the others went in the house too, quite early for them. 

We'll see what she's like tomorrow, if she makes it that far 😥 The pair of us are pathetically in pieces again 😥 Not sure either of us are cut out for life with pets!

Aw thank you lovely people 💜

No need for a vet trip 😥 obviously we're very sad, but also pleased that we were both here to have a last day with her 😥 We took her up to the run last night and she had a last peck round with the others, then took herself off to bed in her favourite spot. When I peeked in later the other three were all snuggled round her, and I found her in the same place this morning 😥

The others have been given a hug (that they didn't appreciate) and informed that they are NOT to get ill for at least 6 months as we can't take it 🙄
