Indigo Station Parking 'Fine'

Hi there, I wish I'd read this forum thread first. After receiving a parking ticket for not parking correctly within a bay (I parked in the middle of a space available, between two incorrectly parked cars), I appealed on the grounds of common sense (I parked in the space available!) but the appeal was turned down. Now I've received a debt collection notice. £100 for the fine and now £70 for the handling fee. How do I actually appeal? What options are open to me? I'd like to appeal in an open forum and make my case ... not have my case agreed behind closed doors. Best, Al.
Was your ticket issue by Indigo at a railway station?
If you’re at debt collector stage you are probably too late to appeal, but jumping in on someone else’s thread is not likely to get you the help you need. Please open a new thread of your own and you will receive bespoke help for your particular case.
Have you read the NEWBIES FAQ sticky yet? Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Apologies. My ticket is also from Indigo so I thought it was on the same topic and either the group or the original post could help. I wasn't aware this was jumping in and will start a new thread. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0
