sounds good, its the home max right?
could u direct me to the list of countries which fall under the free internationals.
thanks0 -
If you go to the Orange website and click on Home Max, and they have all the finer details, including the countries for the international offer.0

seen an offer today which gives free evening broadband access when topping up by £20 month.
would like any feedback from peeps who have this or know about this.
also , would like to know if i can link this to my laptop or would access just be available on phone.
thanksNice to save.0 -
its likely to be for phone browsing only
not home broadband
if you were to connect it to your laptop (using your phone as a modem) it's likely to be against the t+cs of the offer so may be stoppedYes Your Dukeiness0 -
i've tried looking for this offer, but cannot find it - but as the poster above says, it's likely to be just mobile internet access, rather than home broadband access . . . unless you can of course point us to the pace where you saw the advert0

I use Orange at the moment and have their Livebox. I have to say that their customer/Technical support is pretty bad. They have call centres in India and England but most of the time you have to speak to somebody in India.
So far I have had to call them over 30 times about problems with the service and each time you have to go through the same questions even before they give you an update.
I've told them that once my years contract is up, I will be looking elsewhere.Martin0 -
We've just gone over to Orange BB from Virgin and so far it's better than we'd expected.
I upgraded my mobile (to a Samsung G600) from everyday 50 to Racoon 35 which costs me £25 / month (£35 - £10 cashback - this comes off straight away so no reclaiming) for an 18 month contract and £5 for the 8meg BB 12 month contract. Still pay BT line rental - with Talktalk as carrier.
We now realise how slow Virgin was. I was switched over within a week with no problems. We've now got the laptop set up on wireless by means of a £24 PCMCIA wireless card which means he can look at steam train sites while I'm on MSE.
Not got the livebox telephone number yet - takes a week apparently so I'll chase that up on Monday.
So I've got a new mobile with 800 mins cross network mins, 100 texts (that's enough for me as I can't text very fast)and unlimited landline calls.
Wireless BB, free calls from home via livebox (VOIP) all for £40.50 incl line rental and can use override numbers for 0845 and 0870 numbers.
The customer service has been good and appear to be call centres in UK.

Hi - can you tell me what kind of phone number (for incoming calls) you get on the 2nd line with the livebox on Orange - ie is it an 07?? prefix or a geographical or something else ? Can't easily find this out !0

Mostly it's steam trains but tonight I can hear "Zontar's guide to electrics" and various other zontar exploits on youtube - very funny.
arbee - Don't know what the number will be like - will let you know when I get it.0
