...and a long awaited loss for me too, only -1 but I'll take it :D

I got another lot of Asda's 20p veg yesterday, so it'll be another vat of veg soup for lunches next week :)

Finally a loss for me!! -3 pounds for me this week please! I really do think all the exercise I'm doing is putting on muscle though... and this week I'm hoping I'm hiding another loss next week as I always gain around this time... But we'll see!

I AM having a chocolate egg today  but I've been looking forward to it for months as it's my first piece of chocolate since January when I started this challenge... Have saved Syns all week.

We'll see what damage it does next week :rotfl:

Leisurely lunch with friends yesterday. Lots of wine and dessert too so I think yesterday was a write off.

Today I've been enjoying having enough time to cook. I enjoy making food from scratch but life is so hectic I often end up making quick meals rather than spending a few hours in the kitchen. Today my kitchen smells fantastic, and still one more day off tomorrow to use up my left overs :)

Breakfast: avocado, poached egg and one piece homemade spelt bread (4 syns for avocado) (HEB)
Lunch: roast chicken, roasted veg, green beans and broccoli. One glass white wine (6) coffee
Dinner will be butternut squash soup. I've already made the stock from the lunchtime carcass in my new toy (aka the instant pot)

    Tomorrow my plan is
Breakfast: scrambled eggs with spelt bread (HEB)
Lunch: grilled halloumi with salad (4 ish)
Dinner: chicken curry with left over meat

HEA on both days is milk for coffee

Nicki - how much avocado do you get for 4 syns? SW say 14 syns for a whole one.

I've been doing SW for nearly 8 years now and I never knew you could have spelt bread as HEB. Might have to get some of that as I used to love it when DH used to make it. I've never been any good at making bread (or cakes!).

Three of us shared a small one, so 4 seemed about right as a guess.

I don't know for sure that spelt bread is a HEB but as I used wholemeal spelt to make it I can't see why it shouldn't be :). I only went for spelt bread because I'd run out of normal bread flour.

Hi all and welcome the new(ish)thread, haven't posted for a while. Hope everyone is well and enjoying their Easter weekend.

Was disappointed with a 1lb gain yesterday morning, which makes me 7lb away from my target now. Our usual consultant has been off for the last 3 weeks due to having a baby, she's back next week hopefully. The baby is lovely, she had a girl weighing in at 7lb 4.5oz.

I have been thinking about this for a while, but I have been considering knocking going to group on the head, it's costing me a fortune, as I'm now a paying member and have been since October.

We have had 2 cover consultants over the last 3 weeks while our usual one has been off. The first one was fine and really nice. The one we had yesterday was vile and had met her before and didn't like the last time. I am on the social team (weighing), she was really rude to me. I wasn't going to go this week, but knew I would get hit with a back fee and as I'm on the social team, didn't want to let the group down as I felt obligated to turn up. Was annoyed as we give up our own time and do it for nothing, whereas the consultant reaps the benefits. It was a novelty at first, I would help anybody out and am not selfish, but it is really narking me.

What are your thoughts? I'm sure if I said to consultant I didn't want to be part of the social team anymore she would understand but that doesn't change the fact I've still got to go every week and pay £4.95!

We are doing the kitchen at the moment and the kitchen fitter is starting on the 16th April, so we're busy with that at the moment, so time is valuable on a Saturday morning. I was thinking of taking a couple of weeks holiday from SW, as I have 4 days holiday left.

Not been on it for a few weeks but jumping back on it this week. Going to a friends 30th next weekend but other than that should be ok. Going to try and go on the scales tomorrow to see the damage :/
