I was starving today and not feeling great. I was so busy at work I didn't have much time to eat I think!

Breakfast porridge with raspberries (HEA and HEB)
Lunch chicken with lentils and salad
Dinner 2 poached eggs, I slice toast (4)

Snack oatcake, peanut butter and pumpkin seeds (7)

God I would be starving if I had only ate this... :D:D:D

    Evening everyone
Had a really tough day today and I’ve got the headache from hell so will keep it short! Off to York tomorrow and I’m going to be naughty on the train :D I’m in first class and I know i’ll succumb to the tempting food. I’ve a hospital appt tomorrow and will have to go straight from there to the station- given the forecast that it’s going to pee it down :D i’ll be in a taxi to the station. I’ll try not to let it derail me for the rest of the day though. I have a meeting on Friday that I have regularly and last time I saw them I had lost just under 2 stone and the boss was shocked at the change in me then- I’ve lost 3 stone 1lb now so I think she might be pretty surprised this time :rotfl:
    Today’s food:
B: Apple, pear, yoghurt, HEXB x 2 HiFi. HEXA Alpro choc soya drink +1.5 syns
L: Boots Shapers sushi (1) egg and spinach pot, water
T: Spicy beef couscous (from the new Little Book of menus) raspberries, blueberries and a crumbled 1 finger Twirl (6) water
S: Toast and jam (5.5) NAS Vimto
    Syns: 14
    Night all xx

I love York - hope everything go wells x

Good luck today with the travelling and temptation and with the hospital appointment.
For the hospital I find planning and taking snacks with you is the way to go, although not always that easy. Cereal bars, low syn crisps like skips and quavers, and fruit are my normal hospital snacks.

  • Enjoy your trip to York, Mrs_R. LOL@ Sticker Sue. bubbs - fingers crossed for the five stone.

Busy at work yesterday but refused the offer of biscuits. I sit next to the loveliest lady, but she is a feeder! She is a tiny woman with great cheekbones who offers food a LOT.

    Yesterday's offerings:

B - Porridge with mixed berries (HEX B)
L - Left over sausage pasta bake with cheese (HEX A)
D - Oven roasted chicken with new pots, onions, peppers, mushrooms & carrots. Served with broccoli, cabbage and peas.
    S - Raspberries & a nectarine

Syns - Murray mints (of course!) x 2

I am working from home today so intend making the most of it. Today's plan is:

B - Scrambled eggs and smoked salmon
L - Oven roasted chicken with new pots, onions, peppers, mushrooms & carrots. Served with broccoli, cabbage and peas (I plated up an extra at dinner)
D - No idea. I have a TON of eggs so I am thinking maybe cheese omelettes with salad.

Would that be too many eggs, do you think? Probably end up eating four.

Proud of myself with a totally on plan day, all written in a food diary and no cheating yesterday. 7 syns in total, and even managed 10000 steps on my fitbit. Was knackered at the end of the day, but energy levels are definitely improving now I'm further in to my recovery.

    Today's plan:
    Breakfast - speedy frittata
    Lunch - Prawn couscous salad
    Dinner - Shepherds pie

    HA - milk
HB - none planned, but cereal bars if I need a treat later
Syns - cranberry juice (2.5), salad dressing (1)

And hoping to get at least 7500 steps on my fitbit. Will be hard as it's a work from home day, so going to have to make a conscious effort to move more.

  • Happy with -1.5 today as it's only been a few days on plan since home from holiday. :j

    Bubbs, fingers crossed for you.
