  • Hi there

I've not been on for a while, as I've been in and out of hospital :(, so haven't even thought about the diet.

Back at group for weigh-in tomorrow to find out the damage, then hopefully I'll get back on track

Thanks for the suggestions, esmy. I enjoyed the “King & Maxwell” tv series and I like David Baldacci. I’ve been meaning to try Lee Child, so that’s a good tip. The Sue Monk book will fit for ‘S’.

Beware, they're both the first books in a series. The Lee Child one is the first Jack Reacher one - Tom Cruise played Jack Reacher in a film, which was odd casting as he's supposed to be 6'5''!!

As Maman said everyone is welcome on the thread. Welcome also to the "weekend wine" club!

That's good TIE. Hopefully the rest of the bathroom will follow shortly.

The syn values are available on the SW website. If you let us know what you like to drink we can tell you the wine syns, it varies depending on the strength of wine and size of glass. For example a 10-12% 125ml glass of red wine is 5 syns but a 14% 250ml glass of red is 12.5 syns.

Gin and other spirits are 3 syns for a 25ml glass and a 35ml glass is 4 syns.

If you need any other syn values just ask. There's usually someone around who can look them up for you.
