    Morning everyone.

    I can report -2lb

Really pleased as I had a good week apart when it went wrong yesterday due to a day out. 2 coffee stops, 1 with a slice of cake! Lunch out then wine and a packet of crisps last night........

That's it now, back to plan.

Well done - I need to get back on plan I was reasonably good for the first 2 days back - but it has been all down hill since then, resulting in pizza and chips last night. I need to get motivated i.e. book another holiday! :D:D:D

    Beanie,

I read Mansfield Park when I was on holiday, and then watched the film when I came home. The film was such a disappointment.

You may think I am cultured - but I also read Grey!

2lbs is a good loss curlgirl.:T I do hope you enjoyed your syns yesterday.:)

Why won't you ever be a size 10 or 12 bubbs? Do you want to be?:)

I agree that clothes vary hugely between different shops. When I started SW, I was pretending to be a size 16. I knew they were getting tight and I had to be very choosy about the styles and brands I bought. Trousers for work were particularly difficult as unless I bought wide legged then I just screamed 'Thunder Thighs'! It was refusing to give in and buy size 18 that pushed me to do something about it. My aim was to get into a size 12 in a decent brand. Now I can wear almost any size 12 and many size 10s.:D:j

I'm going to boil a piece of gammon later and slice it for the freezer. The gammon will come in handy for an easy meal but my real reason is to have the lovely stock to make lentil soup.

    Today's EE plan:
B: NAS Ribena, HEB Weetabix, HEA milk
    L: Veggie omelette with pickles
D: lamb, SW roast potatoes, carrot & swede mash, cauli, broccoli, kale
Syns: Parmesan 1, HM gravy 4, wine syns!:j

The Jane Austen films vary so much. It'll be hard to beat Colin Firth and the wet shirt!:D

If you want to look at book/film combinations for Jane Austen then Persuasion and Sense and Sensibility aren't bad.

If you like costume drama, I thoroughly enjoyed Cranford and Return to Cranford recently. Fantastic films with a stellar cast and Gaskell's books are good too.

Thanks for reminding me that I need to stock up on books for my holiday in June. I generally go to the charity shops and buy paperbacks that I can leave in the hotel.

Sorry to go off topic but talking about holidays will help me focus on being bikini ready!:D We've got a wedding next weekend ( 2 nights away) and then it'll be all systems go to get as low down in target range as possible. We're having an apartment so I'll have a little more control on food although we eat out every night and most lunches. Plus the resort I'm going to doesn't sell slimline tonic! I'm thinking of taking Ryvita with me to stop myself eating the lovely bread at breakfast. Not sure if I have the willpower though.:(

ETA: Sorry to hear about your back tie. Keep us posted on the bathroom saga. Grey not my cup of tea either. Earl Grey maybe?;)
