So for breakfast today, I had lean roast chicken and baby spinach. Lots of the spinach, less of the roast chicken
I need to get back to basics though, big style.
I'm expecting a gain of maybe 1 or 2. 3 or more and I'll be gutted. I'm putting a brave face on this one though and believing that I won't be upset after finding out. Won't lie though, I will be, especially after 11 constant weeks of loss.
The other thought however is that this will reboot my body a bit. I wonder if my weight loss had plateaued because my diet was too lean. Introducing some crappy foods last week might kickstart my metabolism again. Reboot my weight loss if you will. That's about the best spin I can put on it, to be fair it has worked like that in the past. I've had some huge losses in the weeks following a bad one.
Let's see how I brazen out the interrogation as to why the 'biggest loser' has had a mare this week

Thank you all - and thanks to Chris for the chart.
I'm trying desperately to stick to plan this week - I've already used 75 syns in three days, so need to make the remaining 30 stretch over the last four.
We're away so I won't be weighing in this week, but I'm well aware that I put on 3lb last time we were away and am determined not to do so again - especially as I only need another 1.5lb to reach my target for this challenge and my 4 stone marker.
I've spent my £3 sweetie voucher on 6 packets of Munchies, which I like. I'm going to pass them over to OH for safekeepingbas I know I can't be trusted with them..
Good news is I've found a shop that sells grapenuts so will be able to have overnight oats tomorrow
Plan for today:
B: melon and berries
L: stuffed flat mushrooms (using HEXA grated cheese, HEXB breadcrumbs and a bit of diced onion)either pork steaks with savoury rice and some sort of veg or a prawn stir fry (I've done a plan but sometimes OH just fancies one meal to another on a particular day and we swap the days around).
Snacks: melon, grapes, fat free yoghurt with berries
Syns: none plan other than 2 for oil if we have stir fry0 -
Well done P00hsticks, great result.
I think I have determined that SSM is the joker of the thread, a bit like one of the girls in my group. She came in last week and announced that she was a grandma, was so excited then revealed that she is in need of codfathers & codmothers!
Having had a Saturday that went disasterously wrong, the first thing generated a domino effect for the day, I have had to pull all stops to ensure that WI on Thursday is not too bad. Sunday I made some barbecue sauce & cooked chicken thighs in it, doing as main meal & snacks. Last night, as I have class on Monday evening, so need to be able to cook quickly when I get home, I cheated and stir-fried a huge bag of veg which I had bought, my plate was probably 90% speed & 10% protein!
Today is : Breakfast, 4 ryvita with 3 cheese trianagles,
Lunch is chicken salad
Dinner is steak, probably with chips, mushrooms, onions & salad.
Advice please! The first time I made diet cola chicken, I couldn't understand why everyone thinks highly of it, was not impressedAnyway, decided to have another go on Friday and loved it! However, I am not a lover of "liquidy" meals and although I boiled it to reduce down the amount of liquid, was still not to my liking. Next time I am going to reduce the amount of liquid used and trying to decide what to reduce. My instinct is to leave out the water content of the stock, just add the stock cube to the rest, but not sure how/if this will impact on the taste. Your suggestions much appreciated.

It's obviously getting there then if you've bought carrots to snack on and food to cook meals!!!
I think someone has stolen our mojo and hid them.
We had no porridge in the house this morning - how the heck did that happen!:o:o:o:o
No porridge here either! Was going to make baked oats for breakfast this morning as forgot I hadn't got any! Had actually put on my shopping list for today so bought 2 bags when I when shopping - not going to run out again!
Today's plan:
B - scrambled eggs on toast
L - sweet chilli noodles with salady bits & prawns; 0.5 syn (HM sauce didn't have a lot of flavour so don't think I'll bother making it again)
D - HM chicken curry and rice
HEA - milk
HEB - bread
Syns - tomato ketchup 0.5; nothing else planned but who knows, it's still only lunchtime!

Hello everyone
Thanks for the chart ChrisV & well done P00hsticks for SOTW.
Welcome back SSM - if I'd put that on after 5 weeks away I'd be well chuffed.
Had a lovely weekend in the caravan and although I was dreading stepping on the scales, there doesn't seem to have been much damage - obviously the walking we did on Saturday limited the damage.
I also acquired a bicycle which I rode so that obviously helped as well. Just got to use it again now lol.
Not sure what's on the menu today but will be very good as I need to lose 10lb in the next 3 weeks.....given I haven't lost my Christmas gain yet I'm not holding my breath!0 -
DH booked another holiday last night! We're off to Goa next January for 3 weeks - have been 3 times before but always to the North, this time we're going to the South which I think is less busy & touristy. Now just have to save for it, in addition to the 2 holidays already booked for this year and all the weekends away in the motorhome! It's never ending - no idea how I managed to find the time to go to work.
Really need to stick to plan properly for 7 days of the week instead of just 5 as would love to get to bottom end before the 1st of our holidays in about 6 weeks time but as I usually only lose 0.5lb at a time think it might be difficult.
Have tried SP a few times but never feel full up and don't actually lose any more so think it's time to increase the Speed foods a bit more, probably to half rather than a third! Anyone got any other ideas?
