Thanks everyone .... it still seems unbelievable that its happened. Yesterday we started on the task of telling relatives .... I phoned the uncle and aunt that I met up with when I saw Hypno in Norwich last year, they were shocked too, of course, my sister and her husband have always kept in touch with them. We'll find out today when the funeral is, and then the next round of phone calls will begin. I'm off to my sister's today, to help her with that.

Thanks again, and bye for now....

God, the funeral isn't till next Friday ..... yesterday has caught up with me big time, so I felt a lot better after I had a cry. I'm up in London today, working - and, I wouldn't have signed up for it myself, but one of my mystery shopping agents rang me and offered me an assignment - since its in a railway station that my train will go through on the way to London, I said yes. Weird. I may be sorry for that later, but its a cup of coffee, after all.

    Hope everyone is okay.

Hi both, thanks for your thoughts. Its true, you can only focus on this stuff for so long, and then you need something to take your mind off it. I *am* glad I'm going out, actually.

Thanks all, its nice to read those messages ..... I felt really lousy yesterday, and I'm definitely fighting off a lurgy, but I feel quite a bit better today, I think the initial thing is finally wearing off. I have to look after myself today - I literally can't remember the last time I washed up, so I've got the first lot in soak, groan .... I'm going to do that, and have a bath. I bought a black dress yesterday, so I'll be checking footwear that looks appropriate with it. And checking if I'm wearing too *much* black, since my jacket and shoes/boots are black too. I'm sure some of that is displacement, but why not, really? My sister's getting cleaners in, so she doesn't have to do all that, and she's talking about painting the door to the dustbin recess herself - yes the finish is disgusting, but just for something to do (that she doesn't mind doing). And thats where we all are.
