Yeah, just turned 20 last week. But age is just a numberNo longer using this account for new posts from 20130

duchy - ooh, John Barrowman. I agree, what a waste. Mind you, him and Russell Davies between them have really done their share to let Dr Who grow up, haven't they! Yum. Its only in the last 10 years or so that I've been to cons etc, before then I just read books - everything from Golden Age stuff to Ursula Le Guin.
Gemmzie - happy birthday for last week! You're right, its just a number, thats why I bounce around the way I do. Happy bouncing for you too.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -

Morning hypno  doesn't sound like you're around much today, with your meeting in Peterborough. Hope its a good one. I'm (reluctantly) about to leave the computer and get started - its so beautiful that once I do it will be fine, but I'd really rather be on here! How are you?2023: the year I get to buy a car0

Hi Karma :hello:
I'm so Glad you've got a diary so I can lurk on yours too.I was thinking about starting one to gather my thoughts and chart progress while Popeye is away but I'm pretty carp at posting when I'm in financial pain (debt went up this month with OH setting up home overseas
) but the diaries, by their very nature expose the real highs and lows. I really look forward to reading yours. (Not the low bits, I can never think of warm and encouraging things like Hypno always manages to say, so I'll just hit the thanks button and look forward to the diarist & others working it all out)
Sorry, I'm rambling!0 -
Okay, this is My Hero...and this is him in real life:
sigh..... Stargate's had its run (10 years - an American record) but Torchwood is starting again, thats right - I've heard they've got James Marsters on board for some episodes, now *that* I can't wait to see.
Not done any gardening yet - well, I had to phone my mum, and then I had to have another cuppa coffee, and then I had to come back on here, so........ ah well.
Hi OliveOyl - your first post on here, welcome! This is lovely, its just the sort of house party I can manage. Yeah, I'm a teeny bit worried about the lows of posting, but if I go too far, there's always the edit button, I suppose. I really want the focus of a diary, and there are things I regard as dfw (such as the gardening) that it isn't fair to inflict on other people's diaries. And I want it in one place. For a while I was actually thinking, no, I can't take up Martin's bandwidth in that way, and then I recalled what he said about making a really good living from the various ways that the site brings in money, plus appearances etc, so I thought, well, he doesn't mind, so I won't. So here it is!2023: the year I get to buy a car0
