Good news on the improved sleeping. It makes such a difference to energy on every level I reckon. Sadly it often evades me and I have to resort to the pills, but I would love to be able to sleep like a baby (although apparently when I was a baby I was a poor sleeper too, so maybe I would love to be able to sleep like a log.......!)

Well, today has been very positive, even if I do work slowly. I put some more books on Amazon - some of them are up for ridiculous prices, an old travel book for the Massif Central is on at over £20, lowest price! I've also done lots of cleaning in the living room - once again, the recycling pile is over 9" high, solid, and there is visible floor that hasn't been free for months and months. Two spiders living there. What else? Chucked out more mags while I was starting an early lunch. Transferred tons of money to my French bank account, to help take care of the mortgage payments for the next few months, and the French accountant's annual fees, v annoying. Oh, and I threw the handtowel used in the loo, and the bathmat, in the wash - don't like washing them with anything else. It all looks really good written like that! Lunch a disaster tho - I overcooked some butter beans in the slo-cooker, they taste horrible. Ah well - as they used to say in ancient Greece, you can't be perfect or the gods get jealous (and then you've *really* got troubles, with a jealous god on your tail!). So, all is well! Off now to prepare for London, will catch up with everyone (matched bettors especially) tomorrow.
    xx

:rotfl: That'll be the day, when I get more done than La Hypno! I think you've gone now, off to the kids' karate grading? Hope that goes well. I'm alternately on mse, having eaten breakfast, 2nd cup of tea in hand, and chatting with GTD on skype, newly installed for the purpose, in the offtime I'll be trying to finish uploading all my books etc onto amazon, that would be a real achievement over the weekend.

    Hi ISOM
Yep, done some surveys too - GTD is reading up about m.b. rather than doing any, I've found a potential one, all is well, so what I'm doing now is updating my passport (let it run out last year :o ) and my driving licence (very :o , its years out of date, which can bring about a fine - I think I'm okay about that, cos I don't actually have a car, but the m.b. sites want it for ID purposes, and I should have it up to date anyway, so here I go). Hi ho.

Rainstorm! Wow - only lasted about 10 mins, but impressive. What am I doing today? I just sold two books! One an old counselling one, and the other a book I bought in November 1973 - The Epic of Gilgamesh - my first term at college. And I've never read it. And I've carted it about through all my house moves. Astonishing. Determined to do some quidco-ing today, and send off my passport and driving licence applications (horrible pic of me not smiling, aargh). Ooh, and I've just discovered how to record single songs from CDs on the laptop, which is great - I have loads of CDs where I just like one song, and I don't listen because otherwise I've got to keep changing the CD. I can just make a couple of CDs of loud songs or ballads or whatever, and hey presto. I'm also going to finish posting up my other books and CDs o amazon (if that lot can sell, anything can!). Can't think of anything else right now, apart from updating where all the bits of money are that might come in quickly, for the end of the Olympic Challenge.

4pm: well, not much of that has happened so far, tho I do have to do the passport and d/l apps. I've been mucking about on greasy palm and pigsback, trying to figure out how to make more money from them. Did a few bits, and have kind of understood the bingo thing - the site I was referred to looks so *fiddly*, its that kind of thing that defeats me rather than the principle of anything. Right, cuppa coffee, then off to the passport thingy.

I sold four books on Amazon! For a total of £12.68 - that makes me feel a lot better about the listing I've been doing recently. Happy bunny.

However, a tooth fell out. Literally. The one next to the work I've just had done (TMI alert: thought I had a few bits in my mouth, and it was teeth-bits! Not nice. Ached a bit too). Unhappy bunny.

So, the moral is: if you grind your teeth, do ANYTHING you can to stop. Cos one day it will be too late (sob).
