  • Let's go for it then KC - I'll revise tomorrow and catch up with you in the evening. If you're not up to it after your dental appointment, we can reschedule midweek to line up something for next weekend.

I'm quite interested in the world of money, but I don't feel confident enough to invest; I always get the feeling that the small investor is the last to know about what is actually going on. Ideally I'd like to put together a 'magic' trading system but I think that is probably more of a fantasy than reality...

    Good night

I did disappear... I don't quite know why. A combination of the dental work - I need a lot of painkiller.... and two people's hands in my mouth for over an hour, thats not pleasant.... I lay here when I got back for hours, even kept my scarf on tho I had the heating and the fire on, my body was in shock, I think....

Plus when MSE was down briefly at the end of last week, instead of sitting here reading, I put two books up on amazon. And one of them sold the next day :confused:

I couldn't get enough sleep, either. For a couple of days I was sleeping 4 hours a night - don't quite know why, it was horrible. I've caught up on myself now.

Then yesterday, what I thought was quite an open day, when I would have gently pottered back on to mse, turned into a bit of a marathon - 4.5 hours work, which I know doesn't sound a lot compared to a normal office day, and especially compared to what hypno does, but I was still aching from the dental work, and nearly all of it was in the evening...

I'm very touched that anyone posted here, it really does show the power of this community is very real. I feel stronger again, kind of back to normal.

Thank you, the people who've posted, that really means a lot to me. :A And that sign means what it says, "you are wonderful".

Hi KC, glad you are getting back to your normal self today - I was at the dentist yesterday, but thankfully it was the last of the work that needed doing, so not as bad as last time round!

Take it easy and give yourself time to catch up. Pot calling Kettle black I know, but try.....xx

Thanks all! You people really are lovely. I feel almost back to normal now, tho I have to start my campaign to get fit all over again. The foodplan didn't go to pot tho - the worst I had was Tesco's sour cherry morello jam, which isn't too bad at all.

The book I sold on amazon .... I used to write the date I bought books into the cover. This one, one of George Orwell's, I bought in 1978!!! I'm sure I read it a couple of times at the time, but never since. Its a great book, but its a classic and always available through the library, so it has to go. Pania, you're 30, aren't you? Just imagine, I've been carting that book around all my many house moves since you were a toddler!

BTW, I have to go back to the dentist in a fortnight to get the crown fitted - but she says no need for anaesthetic, and its only 15m long, so hopefully won't be anywhere near as bad.
