  • He has another appt in February, i think it does get worse if he is indoors a lot in centrally heated air (if that makes sense) But is no fun for me, last night was awful because he tries to stop and then falls asleep with a really loud snort..makes me jump, or even when I am waiting for it as I know it is coming. lol.

I am sure it runs in his family as his mother takes an afternoon nap and as soon as she puts her head back she s off snoring(sonds like a muted drill :o ) and that is in an upright chair..Poor Mr.B's dad.

I do think it runs in families, you're right. I've been told I snore (tho kind of quietly :o ) but my dad... - when I was a teenager, my room was diagonally opposite my parents' bedroom ( it was double fronted, we had my grandparents living with us) - and I could hear him from there quite often _pale_ I really hope the sleep clinic can sort something.

EDIT PS - its trying to snow again! Enough! Either snow or don't snow, but teensy weensy little bits - no! I want big chunks if its going to do it. Apologies to all who have to travel in it.

  • I snore as well, been told it is more like heavy breathing( only when thinking of Italian men..) It does get bad with a cold though. But his can rattle the bed.DS sleeps in the room next to us and bangs on the wall to wake his dad up.
DD2 snores as well and she is very slim, so i think it may be a nasal septum kind of thing.

BOB Dr Dragon used to snore like blazes (my Mam could hear him down a 20ft corridor, then 15ft of bedroom with both doors shut and the doors were solid oak! She asked me how I slept through it and I had to admit I didn't!), his was caused by his house dust allergy - so it could be worth getting allergy tested as well
Do not meddle in the affairs of Dragons, for thou art crunchy and good with catsup :D

Ah well, another day. I have fiddly bits to do, and fiddly times to work at, so I'm a bit concerned I might not do any of it, just hunker down in front of the laptop and play computer games, so I *have* write this crap down, apologies to anyone who happens by.
    - register with shopandscan. They sent me their thingy, and I haven't gone to the website yet.
    - I have a voucher to top up my mobile, I need to input it and get the free 300 texts it entitles me to (to be used in one month! But there's a friend I'm supposed to meet who *does* text, and doesn't have email, so that will help.)
    - do the washing up. I wonder why I find it so difficult to do? :rotfl: done most of it - rest will have to wait till this lot has dried. And I'm read to work now, just in time.... 11am
    - put a couple of loads in the machine
    - check online banking, not done that for quite a few days, I'm sure some bits of money aren't where they need to be. done, 10am.

Just had to rearrange my day while I was typing this - not going to be fiddly any more, its pretty solid now, and pretty empty tomorrow. Ah well, it gives me less choice - I have to get down to it!

Oh, and my 5 a day on ebid too. Haven't been back since my browser froze the other day, I just *can't* let that go again.

Oh, and another one - see to old emails I haven't answered.

tried, but the clicker thingy plug doesn't fit my laptop, so I've emailed them.

So the "nopes" get carried forward. I like using the colours :rotfl:

I did a lot of paid work today - 5.5 hours, so to do *any* of this other stuff was quite a victory. Not bad.

Paid work is very good! :) And I like to think of goals as being things to aim at - if you miss them you just give it another shot! Tomorrow. :D
