Thanks all!
Just tidied a little bit, and opened another window to see who's on - the first window to mse is now set permanently on the Gambling Offers Thread - on looking at the £223.81 I earned from dfw work in December, £44.52 was from a single matched bet, 20% of the total. Nuff said!2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Slobbed quite a lot today, very tired after not much sleep last night, but thats okay. Started to do things about 3.30 - swept the top half of the patio (v full supermarket bag of rubbish), walked round the block (but had my shingles pain come back, cos it was so cold), then struggled to understand the ebid listing system - I must copy out what I write about postage etc. ***Very*** pleased to have managed to do it, as per Panda's "do your challenge" challenge.2023: the year I get to buy a car0

Glad it helped! I feel really sorry for you with the shingles, my mum is suffering something similar at the moment and it's really starting to get her down. It really is abso-bloody-lutely Baltic here tonight, don't suppose it's too much warmer in the south. Stay home wrapped up warm! And eat chocolate - that's the best cure for everything.0

I think I might be getting back to something like normal hours .... nice to be back on before 8am .... today's list is:
- quite a bit to do on ebid - list payment details properly, then the next 5 items on there.
- washing up.
- gardening - tidy front garden, sweep remainder of patio.
- see to a wall hanging thats collapsed, with out support. That one might take quite a while.
- go to bank, see to cheques. Some into income, some into savings.
- little bit of supermarket shopping needs to be done. And do I buy my new blinds now (thats what the Christmas gift money was for, but I've got more than I need). It'll take two trips to do that *and* the supermarket shopping, but it would be worth it.
- finally order the microwave - still haven't done it, too much detail for my brain, but I need to get my act together now.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Dead chuffed - got my ebid listings up to speed with payment/returns/postage policies - all of that's taken care of on amazon, so I'd forgotten I had to do it. Its taken ages, tho, so I'm not going to do the next 5 listings. I'll do the scans, actually, thats quite mindless, don't need to pay the same sort of attention.
EDIT: still dead chuffed. Looked at the microwave on Amazon, the cheapest Panasonic on the first page was £76, but it was £63 something. So I looked on the next 3 pages. There's the one I wanted, for £67. Compared and contrasted. Looked all over the page, since it was sold by an outfit called Buy Direct, and the whole point of this is that I use my qype gift certificate. Lo and behold, Amazon.co.uk sell the same thing for £45.01!!!! They don't despatch until mid-Feb, but I don't care - thats a big saving! So I've ordered it, v pleased, and I *still* have time to declutter the kitchen a bit before it arrives. Off for a celebratory cup of coffee now.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
- [strike]quite a bit to do on ebid - list payment details properly, then the next 5 items on there.[/strike] done, sort of - payment details done, and scans for next two days items done, but not listed.
- [strike]washing up.[/strike] yep, sort of done, and chick peas put on to soak.
- gardening - tidy front garden, sweep remainder of patio. nope. Have to do that today.
- see to a wall hanging thats collapsed, with out support. That one might take quite a while. nope. Ditto.
- [strike]go to bank, see to cheques. Some into income, some into savings. [/strike] done.
- [strike]little bit of supermarket shopping needs to be done.[/strike] done. And do I buy my new blinds now (thats what the Christmas gift money was for, but I've got more than I need). It'll take two trips to do that *and* the supermarket shopping, but it would be worth it. nope, decided not to.
- [strike]finally order the microwave - still haven't done it, too much detail for my brain, but I need to get my act together now.[/strike] done - listed in my previous post, very chuffed - the qype reviews earned me £50, and this Panasonic microwave, with great reviews on Amazon, cost me £45! So I have a total of £25 for other purchases, almost £30 thanks to bingoport.
Okay, thats not bad. So today's list:
- gardening from yesterday.
- wall hanging from yesterday.
- ebid listings.
- matched betting.
And if possible a bit of a run through with the vacuum cleaner. I'm off to London tomorrow to see a friend, so I have to get my skates on today. Good reason tho!2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
I'm with you on the matched betting - I have made close to £1500 on it - so why did I stop?! I guess it gets harder when the simple big offers are done - but it is not that hard!
So one job for today - sort through my offers and my accounts and see what's what - and line up some stuff for today and tomorrow. Need to make money!0 -
thanks karma and mizmir, you have made me put an appt to have a look at matched betting when the littlies go back to school. I could do with some extra money.... couldn't we all lol
happy new year
chevI want a job that is less than an hour driving away from my house! Are you listening universe?
