HI Karma. Just caught up with your thread. I'm glad you've got some R&R lined up as it seems things have been pretty exhausting for you. Thanks for the tip about the Focus Group companies - I've just registered for both.Total debt: 1 January 2007 £[strike]49,387.79[/strike] 1 January 2012 £[STRIKE]19,312.85[/STRIKE] 1 August 2012 £11,517.620

Sorry you've been ill and low - seems to be our lot at the moment on here. Hope you're feeling better. Some time out relaxing is definitely a good thing. We all need that sometimes. I'm having a day without lists today for the same reason.
Focus group though sounds like a real find - well done with that.0 -
Thanks Seaxwyn! You're right, I've felt exhausted this last week - I really need to get a bit of balance back, can't just keep going 24/7. I had a look through the focus group listing of the first one myself - did I write about going on the website, not just waiting for their emails? They don't send out *all* their jobs via email, I don't think. I haven't joined the 2nd one yet, I'll do it when I get back.
I'm off to town this afternoon, and this morning I'm going to clean up the kitchen, have a nice bath and some healthy food. I'll just be off now to check on your thread, see what you're up to.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Mmm, clean kitchen, nice food and a bath - sound utter bliss. My morning so far has comprised of getting woken at stupid o'clock by wrongly set alarm  (OH's fault  ), getting vomited all over by Greg  , not being able to have a shower as we haven't got one yet  , only coco-pops to eat (bleugh) as we've not been shopping yet  , finding a massive spider in the dirty washing heap:eek:    , and now listing a load of stuff on ebay (although I'm quite clearly skiving here instead
).
Hope you have a lovely day in town. Sorry for the whinge - I'm just jealous as your day sounds lovely!

Oh dear Panda! :grouphug: Hope your day improves!!
I agree Karma, your day sounds really nice - enjoy!Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -
:grouphug: Oh Panda! I'm sorry, thats a *bad* day!
My day hasn't been *quite* as nice as it should have been. The washing up is only half done, the rubbish still isn't even in the rubbish bin, and I can't get my money back from a train fare I need to cancel  Quite a waste of £35.
I was really angry at first, but now I've calmed down, it really is my own fault - I'm terrible at near-future plannng - give me a plan for the next five years, I'm great, but a plan for a holiday in two months time, and I'm really rubbish  So another achievement today has been to send two messages on facebook that I've had hanging over my head for ages. I only contact rellies on facebook - my nephew, and a cousin who I didn't realise was on there both contacted me ages ago, and I just didn't do anything, I'm an antisocial little *** sometimes (often).
Still, have now sent apologetic messages, and I hope they'll forgive me
No bath yet....disgusting!  but after a quick clean I'm off into town anyway, I don't care!

Made a list of things to do before I go to visit my mum on Thursday.... it has 42 items on.... oops.... even if 42 is the answer to the meaning of life, the universe and everything, thats quite a lot. Mind you, I've already done 7, some of them are quite tiny. Off to bed now - I think most people are, and I have two early mystery shops to go to.2023: the year I get to buy a car0
