Yep, tomorrow! Panda, yes, I have strict trading signals that I use (that I won't post, everyone who read it would go cross-eyed) and one happened on an early-signals chart at 8.35, and on the full chart at 08.45 - at £1 a point, I'd have made £63 if I'd got in at 8.35am as indicated and got out when the early signals chart told me to at 855am. At £10 a point, thats.... £630. Quite a lot of money, which is why I spend so much time on my thread droning on about the trading. But this one wasn't my fault! Really!
I've got lots of therapy work this afternoon and evening, but not much the rest of the week till Friday, so I'll be able to pay more attention. Onward and upward.....2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
KC, it does sound as though you really do know what you are talking about. I hope you manage to make a profit out of the Natwest money over the next day or two. It's way out of my league, but it all sounds very exciting."I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250

Hiya! It *is* exciting, you're right! And meanwhile I still get excited about little things, like the £6 mystery shop I have to input just now, so I really do get the best of both worlds!
I'm stealing time right now, a session finished early - and have just been reading on hypno's thread about her own private repayment schedule, as opposed to what the debt schedule is. Wow!
My debt is currently £6381.93 (next repayment coming out first thing next week) with the last payment going out on 18 April 2012. Obviously, the capital being repaid each month is going up, but the average is £141.83. So each month I'll transfer the difference between that and the actual amount being repaid, to the savings a/c now designated as my "debt repayment" account. This month, thats £14.76, which is do-able.
Thats assuming carrying on with the mystery shopping and matched betting and whatnot, and will help bring the df date forward - quite a bit, don't know yet.
That ignores the trading, but even if the trading makes no profit at all (and I'm d**med well certain its going to) I have £230 in my savings account now, plus another £100 soon from quidco, £33 from greasypalm if they ever get their collective finger out, and currently £30 in mystery shopping. That totals ..... £393. I also have £974 in the old spread betting account - i.e. the one I used to use before I opened the NatWest one.
393 + 974 = £1,367.
So some time during October, I could make a debt repayment of about £1,400. And that'll mean a real difference in my debt free date all on its own! Hypno would clear my debt by Christmas, of course, but there you go.
I'm still pleased!2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
All sounds very good, and also doable on your time scales as well..so i wouldn't beat myself up about it and if you are comfortable then it is right for you.Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

That potential repayment of £1400 takes me forward in the loan schedule to August 2009, takes a year off the debt.
Didn't write in the above that at the same time I'll be matched betting in euros for all I'm worth, to try to earn enough euros so that I don't have to send over any more sterling to fund the French mortgage.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Blimey, I last posted on my own diary on Monday? What's that about?
I'm more concerned with setup at the mo, thats what it is. So apart from posting on other people's diaries (a lot!) whats the actual accomplishments?
- qualifier at jaxx for m.b.ing has come through, will do the freebie on tonight's football hopefully. :money:
- researched next, and found a good one for the euro m.b.ing, lots of repeat offers, thats good to keep the euros rolling in. A bit scary, but its just using the now-funded moneybookers account, rather than my A&L a/c. :money:
- I've spent a *lot* of money over the last few days - at Ikea Online and a bit on ebay too. My Steenbarger book talks a lot about body signals & comfort during trading, and I'm desperately uncomfortable at my desk. I've ordered an Ikea Poang chair (one of those classic S shaped ones) and an accompanying footstool, plus from ebay a little pushpull table, that can go over a bed or a chair, to put the laptop on. Can't quite assemble it tho!
- I also rearranged my desk so I can take the computer off it and put it back more easily - discouraging when you have to move a mountain every time....
- did some surveys, another yougov thing, my balance there is now £39 - not far now! :money:
I've had a completely horrible headache the last few days, and not slept well. This is the first time the headache's gone, and I've caught up a tiny bit on sleep - I spent too long on the computer on Sunday and Monday, it was really toxic. I need to take more breaks, and not just play a computer game as a break.
However, dfw took a back seat last night - Stargate Continuum aired on Sky! I'd heard bad reviews, but *I* liked it, lots of Daniel moments. They realised that most of his fans have a fetish for his toes (don't ask....) :rotfl: and there were two shots of his toes last night... And one of his best episodes from Season 3 was on repeat last night too, and I didn't have it on DVD, so I was a happy bunny.
- Amazon. They have a science fiction sale on. I have £15 of vouchers, and can get another £10 from lightspeed. That will get me Season 10 of Stargate, which is also very Daniel-friendly. I want it, I want it, I want it. :mad:2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
While I was typing that marathon there, a 30 point trade happened. I'm just not in the zone this morning. My own fault, no excuses this time.
And my email programme suddenly wants my password, so I can't get my emails. Bummer.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
That's strange, another friend commented this morning that their email programme was suddenly asking for a password, wonder if it's the same provider?
Know what you mean about too much computer time.. I think I need a timer on mine so it switches itself off and I can't use it!
Not asking about the toes....:rotfl:
Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -
I skyplussed stargate continuum, i hate having to wait during the adverts..i thought it was great and a good slant on the go back to the past bit, very tongue in cheek and i would buy it! But i would anyway, just for the collection!
I have been sleeping rather well lately, probably beacause i get in bed first, thank god for the olympics..sport is the only thing Mr.B will stay up for....long may it continue!Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

Hey Red - don't know what it is, I'll try and get it sorted by remote assistance; I'd much rather be thinking about Danny's toes.... there's a lot of
arm !!!!!! in Stargate too now... yum... tho it was good to see the nerdy academic briefly on the back of a book cover the alternate Daniel had written. Okay, I'm officially a nerd, stopping now... trying to, anyway ...
Hi Bob- know what you mean about the adverts - I often zoom around doing something, or have a paperback to read, by the end of Stargate last night, tho, I was just sipping a glass of red wine, was really tired. Skyplus will have to wait till I'm debtfree, but I *do* like the sound of it!2023: the year I get to buy a car0
