I have an A&L account for similar reasons. It also has a free o'draft (which I'm using this month
) but it alsways takes me by surprise to see interest added to an account on *that* side :rotfl: :rotfl:

I have one of them too, for m.b.ing - it always makes me laugh to see the saver thing in credit when I happen to use the *free* overdraft for a bookie!2023: the year I get to buy a car0

Grocery challenge. Oops.
Friday: - chips in London, £1.49 (but I did take a flask of tea!)
Saturday: - sarnie and free crisps at a new Somerfield, £1.1o
- 1kg brazil nuts £45.99, 500g cashew nuts £3.49
- and ha, free, a litre of Candia milk with a voucher.
Off to update the sig finally. This lark is quite difficult!
EDIT: another Sainsbury's bit, 61p on honey (no golden syrup) so I could do Taxi's refridgerator cake, and 29p and 19p on value tinned fruit cos it was there and I wanted to round up to get the nectar point (singular!:rotfl: how sad is that!)2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Hi KC! How on earth do you understand all that spread-betting stuff? I don't have the first idea what it's all about! Matched betting was more than enough for my ickle brain!
I remember you saying a while ago that you were spreading yourself too thin on the survey front. Have you ever been a member of onepoll? Unlike the others, you go to their website and there are always a list of little surveys to do that only take a couple of minutes and pay 10-15p each. I've been doing it for a few weeks (and not exactly religiously either as I never have the time!) and I'm up to £9.60 and £8.25 on me & OH accounts, payouts when you get to £40. I like it as you can never get screened out and the topics are usually fun! Onepoll.com it is if you want to have a look, they don't pay for referrals so I'm not after any commission!
Well done with getting through the lists so well, you're far too motivated!0 -

It's late, but did you really pay £46 for brazil nuts? Are they either really expensive, or is a kilo a huge amount, or was that supposed to say £4.59? I have no idea!0 -
Oops, it was supposed to say £5.99! They're £6 a kilo, basically - not bad for solid protein, no waste, blah blah.
Onepoll sounds good, I'll give it a go tomorrow, thanks!
The spreadbetting - I can't get my head around dutching, and I can't actually quite *do* the spreadbetting yet, but I love the charts. I was explaining them today to a friend over from Germany, and I could feel the old enthusiasm surging back - think of a graphic way to describe the behavioural psychology of groups, and thats what charts are - the science of fear and greed, as charting has also been called. Love it.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -

Sorry, I'm afraid I've no idea in the slightest what you're talking about although I'd love to know. I've seen the spreadbetting company that advertise on Quidco, and got as far as the bit that says you can lose a lot more than you actually deposit, and that was enough for me. Although my ears did !!!!! up when you mentioned the word 'greed'.
Glad you resolved the great nut mystery for me. I did actually have a snooze through the night and lay thinking about how many nuts you could get in a kilo, and then (for some unknown reason) how many brazil nuts (except in my mind's eye they looked more like chestnuts) I could fit in a red vase I've got at home. Explain the behavioural psychology of that!0 -
:grouphug: :coffee: its okay Panda! The first time I looked at a chart, my brain did a complete wibble, but I wanted to learn and I had the time. Which is one thing you deffo don't have at the moment, time!
I have time today, and .... I'm going to make a list! Hypno's chickened out today :rotfl: (don't trample yourselves in the rush to kill me for that remark!) but here is mine:
- check out onepoll a la Pandapaws.
- trading market news for the next week has to be listed.
- cook the remaining biscuit mix I made earlier in the week (I only had one fairy-cake-type trayand I'd have eaten it all at once anyway).
- do a lightspeed survey.
- tidy front garden.
- encourage spiders sitting on windows at the back of the house to go back to the garden.
Hmm. What I really meant to list was "clean bathroom and toilet". That might not happen, not for the wall tiles, anyway.
