Oooh. Hearty welcome or war. Maori. Thats the thing they do when a royal lands, isn't it, sticking their tongues out and bulging their eyes. *Not* going there! :rotfl: When I get to New Zealand, I want Legolas, Aragorn and Boromir (Sean Bean, sigh) lined up for me :rotfl:
if that's the case i am coming with you on that trip0

It's only a spider...it's a friend...it's cleaning up your kitchen of creepy crawly life...
I know... sigh.... but I *like* woodlice, and I don't like spiders (more handwringing).... my fault for having a massive great gap between the wall and the floor....2023: the year I get to buy a car0

Aww Karma, I think you should make peace with the spider. I too prefer woodlice.. but there are hundreds in my house! I now have a resident spider behind the sofa and he/ she munches away on them and doesn't bother me - just sits there in its web getting fat! Not seen many others since he/she got established there, I wonder if they're territorial...?Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0

            Hiya!
El - hope you're feeling better soon.
Redsquirrel - sorry. Sorry spider. Nope..... I'm afraid it won't happen. I'm a terrible person, or at least a terrible Buddhist. Very bad.
Looking on the bright side... my garden is looking a lot better. Cleared quite a bit more of the patio and the little terraces by its side, I'll soon be able to sit out there quite happily. At the front, I cleared away some of the snowberries from the lowest part of the garden, and enlarged the space between the two groups I'd recently established. Definitely *not* destroying the ants' nest, don't worry, tho it might suffer a bit - they've been chucking foot square stones off the top of one of the walls (I'm not kidding - over the years the ants have dislodged 3 big stones).
Got the laptop on my knee at the mo, watching Top Gear - Hypno is too, I think... they're lost in Tokyo, mad beggars. Oh to be lost in Tokyo...2023: the year I get to buy a car0
