Right, I don't want to waste today - as I don't have any paid work, I can just putter around, so instead - here's a list!
- [strike]make a list[/strike]
- [strike]do scratchcards[/strike] 60p total!
- withdraw money from laddies after casino thingy went and did it straight away!
- check online banking. went and did it straight away.
- go get the results of blood tests a fortnight ago.
- use a topup voucher I found for my mobile.
- enter the gm.tv comp (I happened to be listening when it came on :rotfl: honest) done
- do a bit of meditation.
- do a bit more in the garden, I think its going to be another nice day.
- scanning, so I can put those magazines in the recycle bin!
- put the washing machine on.
- pay Visa done
- write my bank on the website (nice and cheap, saves a stamp!). done.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Uh oh .... thats 7 items on my list done already. Possibly I'm making my list a bit too easy...maybe they should all be "half an hour of admin"

The bank, tho .... that teed me off. They lost another cheque of mine, were ages sending me notification (other cheques got cashed, I'm not in the habit of checking the amount credited against the amount paid in, I must confess) so when I complained about the non-credit and the late notification, they re-credited the money and said they'd investigate. They have, can't find the cheque, but they've agreed I get the money - so I don't even have to go back to the client. I've decided I'm going to use the counter again, instead of the paying in machine, and I already got a snotty look on Friday for doing that, but thats their problem, they shouldn't be losing my cheques.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Dont add the list under one item. Small things add up and isnt it better to mark off 7 items instead of one?:jMay 2013 new beginnings:j0

^^What squizz says. xBlackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
Still lurking around with a hope of some salvation:cool:0
