Bother, lost my post .... I had such a bad night's sleep, but it was worth it - full of adrenalin after watching Michael's episodes. Shaun - its Burn Notice, the end of season 2, which hasn't aired in the UK yet. Michael's got rave reviews; he died again, of course, I did tear up a little bit - I'll have to watch it again, it was late by then and I was skipping scenes, so I didn't get it all. She's also sent me a Sci-Fi Channel made for TV movie, The Lost Treasure of the Grand Canyon, which Michael stars in with Shannen Doherty. I might start to watch that with my lunch....
KM - thanks for the link, its a great idea, I'm off into town today for the last of the BK Pos Thinking course, so I'll buy some then.
Bob hope Guides was good - I'm off to your thread to check where you're off to.
Today is another fairly busy one - got 2.5 hours paid work, I might get ten minutes in the garden, but thats all. Then I'll go off into town for the pos thinking course - get to a Julian Graves before it shuts (hopefully ... hmmm, the linseed might have to wait till Friday) and to Tesco - bananas, my beloved pesto and some slimline DVD cases (got to keep all those Michael DVDs in pristine order).

Hey Karma, sorry to hear you had a bad sleep but glad you enjoyed the DVD
Erm yes mostly bad weird dreams but never mind!
Positive thinking course sound good - don't know if you've seen the daily chats this week but there's been a positive thinking theme going on so maybe you can pop over and give us all some tips!

Hi Shaun! I love SF - met up with a children's Robert Heinlein book when I was ten years old (oh, Dr Who had started just before that, got me interested). Kept me sane :eek::eek:
Anyway, for me, its Stargate SG1 and Atlantis, Dr Who, I *so* want to see galactica, but from the beginning. Lost interest in much more, even Eureka. Bob on here likes Sanctuary.... for me, its often authors - Julian May, CJ Cherryh, Orson Scott Card, some Marge Piercy, some of the oldies and goldies - speaking of which, I met Larry Niven in Chicago! :j
Oh, back on TV - I like Bones.David Boreanaz, thats all I'm saying.
For Burn Notice, here in the UK its on FX - don't think Virgin have it. They're just repeating S1 again at the mo - oh, its starting this Saturday with the pilot: "spies are not fired, they're issued a burn notice to let the agent know they're no longer required" - or required by someone else (music of doom here). Its a cross between updated versions of The Professionals and Miami Vice, with a know it all voiceover that I adore, from the hero. Its a *lot* of fun. It has a questionable female support, but the actress is very, very good. I only started watching it cos I knew Michael Shanks had an arc in S2, but I've kept on cos its fun.:D:D
I'll stop drivelling now:o:o
EDIT: Buffy. Angel. The Dresden Files. Dead Like Me.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
You forgot to add a few, i like all of them^^^^^^^ and now there is a new series..mentalist to add to the list.
Professionals..droool.......................i ALSO like any supernatural type of series and books. For pleasure can often be found reading the gruesome and the gory...The Bone collector is top of that list.:DBlackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
