And here's the updated list (again):
    - make a list done
    - do scratchcards done 60p total!
    - withdraw money from willhill after casino thingy went and did it straight away!
    - check online banking. went and did it straight away.
    - go get the results of blood tests a fortnight ago. got. They're fine.
    - use a topup voucher I found for my mobile.
    - enter the gm.tv comp (I happened to be listening when it came on :rotfl: honest) done :o
    - do a bit of meditation.
    - do a bit more in the garden, I think its going to be another nice day. done - the rhubarb can breathe now its not surrounded by ivy and mouldy brambles :o
    - scanning, so I can put those magazines in the recycle bin!
    - put the washing machine on. done, tho it hasn't finished yet.done, its out.
    - pay Visa done
    - write my bank on the website (nice and cheap, saves a stamp!). done.

I can do a few minutes meditating (I have a breathing exercise on CD that lasts 3 whole minutes, even I can do that).

Right, its that and maybe some of the scanning - I'm dead chuffed. I've got much more paid work tomorrow so I won't be able to do half this, so in my new spirit of balance, I'm not even going to try, I have a French apartment thing I must do, and that'll be it really.

The chocolate thing is because something is upsetting my stomach, and there are several possible culprits - wheat, cow's milk, chocolate, refined sugar, coffee, mostly - I've given up all of them at one stage or another, and they all irritate my stomach to some extent. But the last few weeks, I gave up both wheat and chocolate, so we're not sure what the improvement is due to (of course, there are more than just nutritional factors!)

Didn't do anything else last night - I was really tired after a day like this. Just been doing a bit of cleaning, as I have people in the house today, and thats that, really, its 3 appointments today, so nothing dfw going on, not really.

Hope everyone has a good day.

  • Hi Karma

Have you ever tried linseed for your stomach? I had a client who swore by it after years of problems it really made a difference to her. She used to have it daily. May be worth investigating if you haven't already?

Hi Karma. DD is coeliac and I am beginning to think I may get tested. I have virtually NIL bread ( unless I crave it when hungover! ), mostly because of the effects of acid on joints etc...........but when I do, I bloat. Cornflour ( custard, ) has a frighteningly fast ,ahem 'effect', also quality ice cream. Chocolate is OK in a relatively small amount but then I start to swell.
Lovely, does it sound like I need to ask some Q's?

    New List

    1) Sit down done

    2) Scratch head done

    3) Ask KC about stuff done

this list stuff is eezy squeezy;)
    :D:D stay wonky :D:D

Squirrel - weird dreams, huh? I hope not horrible weird....

KM - no I've never tried linseed oil... thats interesting, ta for that - linseed is great for omega fats too, isn't it? I'll get some...

Pepe - I don't eat bread either these days ... or wheat based breakfast cereal.... or shop bought cakes - or shop bought pizza. Its in an incredible amount of stuff, very sad. I haven't used cornflour that much, oh, but custard is made of it - well, I have it once in a blue moon, but I'm having some tonight, I've got a Xmas pudding I bought... oh no, thats got wheat in, I better not. Rats, I might have to have some more chocolate :(

Olive - sweetie, it was a joke with Fay about olive trees round by me, and what they'd be like up in the Orkneys where she is! You're sweet and lovely!

I'm annoyed cos of my bank, again, and happy cos my Michael Shanks DVDs have arrived from Australia - about to start work now, but guess what I'll be doing this evening! There's *another* death scene, I know, so I [strike]might[/strike] will cry....
