What should I do about this?
Please start a new thread and we will help. Hit your 'Back' button which will take you to the forum thread list and you'll see a red button, cunningly disguised under the label 'New Thread'.

We can help you there, not via a random post on another poster's thread, strictly forbidden by MSE rules.

    Just do it .....!
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Here is the general form of judgement of order and particulars of claim

i shall await your further instructions please
  • So, you file your amended defence
I am unsure what question you can have about this?
Is their claim, that you already saw their further particulars, true? Not true?

I have seen similar to the particulars before in letter from SCS law demanding money
so do i need to do a witness statement or is this same thing as amended defence? what would i add in my defence? and what timescale i have left?

It's very clearly set out, and that Order only arrived this week, so the ball is in the Claimant's court unless they've just done it.

The Claimant has to serve you amended, detailed POC, within 14 days.

THEN you get 14 days to submit an amended defence.

Write to DJ Hassall and enclose your costs schedule (see NEWBIES thread, hours spent at £19 an hour...etc.) and a summary of what UKPC (not just the solicitor) has done that has rendered the entire claim to be vexatious and unreasonable, and ask for all your costs on the indemnity basis.

Point out the Claimant is in default of the order dated xx/x/18 as you have not received any further and better Particulars and this conduct has alarmed and distressed you even more, showing that the claim was meritless and their Solicitors are content to play fast & loose with Court Directions and Orders.

Have a look at the huge costs sassi claimed! In the NEWBIES thread...copy that Costs Schedule style!!
