Did you complain at the time? Why did they put that list up? Where exactly did they put it so it was 'public'
Why are you bringing this up 2 months later?
I told the manager that put it up that they had taken my number. She didn't say anything apart from ask who it was.
They put the list up by the phone at reception presumably so people could phone others if needed to come to work.
Its in a reception area where staff are but the public could see if they went to that area but they are unlikely too.0 -

Next time you can't keep your phone, any anything else in your trousers, complain at the time, not only after she's threatened to cut your b*ll*cks off, or put your pet bunny in a saucepan.
Now, back under the bridge with you!
I did make a verbal complaint at the time and told other staff what had happened.
Don't be so rude please.0 -
Just a small thought, would you be this unhappy if the affair was still going well?Dwy galon, un dyhead,

Well you clearly didnt have a problem with them having your number.... and more.
Staff are expected to act in a certain way, if he was harassing you and 'sending love messages' and you were annoyed, then you could have complained about that at the time and I am sure a disciplinary would have happened.
You cannot now complain that things have gone wrong.0 -

A verbal complaint about what exactly?
The staffing phone number list (a normal thing for many companies) or the nature of his use of it?0 -

If the list of phone numbers is still up, and if you can drop the sour grapes thoughts relating to your failed relationship, you might still be able to complain to your employer that you provided that mobile number to them for the purposes of recruitment and emergency contact only, and not for distribution to colleagues. But you need to make sure that there has been no correspondence in the past suggesting that they would use the data in this way.:heartpuls Mrs Marleyboy :heartpuls

I saw that and asked what you complained about.
You can't really moan that James from accounts is texting you love messages whilst having an affair with him...0 -

I stated that this person had taken my number and was sending me messages to the Manager in the building.0 -

Well sorry but you can't really pursue a complaint about this as I assume two things...
a) that you responded instead of immediately blocking him and reporting him
b) you then had an affair with him!
If you had immediately blocked his number and said 'Look manager, this colleague has taken this number that you provided and used it inappropriately! I find his actions inappropriate and you should not have allowed this' I'd have been 100% on your side.
But instead you did a very very different thing...0
