Thoughts with you shariann concerning your brother. A tough time for any family facing that horrible disease.

I am shattered........just finished my fifth day at work. Not going to volunteer my services for the next few weeks even though there are loads of shifts that need covering.

Its not so much that I get tired ( I do) but any extra hours starts making me grumpy. Everyone starts getting on my nerves. Customers and colleagues as well and I dont like being like that.

Im the type of person that needs alone time and Im just not getting it. Think thats why I like my allotment. It recharges my batteries.

Money is nice.....£82.50 extra earnings

Takes me to a total of 5,060.77 for the month................all down to my BT pension. :j Not an amount I am ever likely to see again.

Will be back to reality next month.

My final total for the month was £74.70. Slightly missed my target but extra money is extra money so I can't complain.

I've been renting a shelf in a shop also and will visit tomorrow so *fingers crossed* I may have a little more to add.

I was wondering about renting space in a shop too. Sounds a great idea but I don't know if it would be cost-effective for me. I don't know anyone who has actually done it although there are 2 shops reasonably near me that offer the service. Will be interested to see how you get on with it.

Thank you all for your kind words of support. My brother is a bit better since his procedure on Thursday but still very tired and uncomfortable.

I'm glad there's better news about your brother:T. I expect there will be good and bad days but it sounds as if he's moving in the right direction:j.
