    Hi everyone

Hope you are all enjoying the long weekend. I'm off work now for a couple of weeks and despite having lots going on am really looking forward to being at home for a bit.

My brother has been really poorly for the last week but had a procedure yesterday which will hopefully help him to feel better. He has a stage 4 cancer which still hasn't really sunk in but he is trying to stay positive and hopes to start some chemo as soon as he is feeling better.

Thanks for all the money making tips, shariann:T. I doubt I'll be eligible for the Amazon one, I never am whenever they offer something similar:mad:

I'm so sorry to hear about your brother. Having been through a similar situation (stage 4 cancer diagnosis) with my own brother this winter I know what an anxious and stressful time it must be for you. Sending best wishes and hugs to you all:kisses3:

Thanks CBC. I'm exhausted and have completely vegged out so far today! Need to get myself going though as house is a bomb site and I have a mountain of washing to tackle  and I need to do a food shop.

The amazon offer says you are eligible if you haven't bought gift cards in the last two years

Ok, so today has been a write-off. Most productive thing I did was empty the dishwasher! I am writing myself a to do list for tomorrow or I can see the same thing happening. Also planning to set some goals for April, I'm hoping this will help me to feel more in control as there is so much happening that is out of my control right now. I'm not planning on being too ambitious as I will just feel worse if I don't reach the goals I have set but definitely need some motivation.

Hope everyone has had a good day xx

Evening all. Sorry to hear about your brother Shariann. Like many, I've seen first hand the impact cancer has on a family. Horrible horrible disease. I wish you and your family the very best, and hope your brother starts feeling better soon to start the chemo. I've just signed myself up to run a half marathon in September in aid of our local hospice who helped care for my MIL during the last few weeks of her life. I've always wanted to run a half-marathon, but always talked myself out of doing so. When the hospice arranged this half-marathon, I knew this was the right opportunity and something that I knew I wouldn't talk myself out of. Just hope my ankle sorts itself out soon so I can properly train for it.

My matched betting total for the last 2 days is £75.84.

Have a lovely weekend all :)

Sorry to hear about your brother Shariann, i truly hope things turn around for you soon.

I've had a very unproductive money making month with a very small £58.28 to report for March.

Declaring this month's profit as £202.18. That's terrible but I'm amazed I made even as much as that what with one thing or another that's been going on this month:(.. I'm not likely to squeeze another penny out of March now:mad:

Must do a lot better in April:j

Just had a pleasant surprise today though as I had a survey invite from PopulusLive, the first since November last year:eek:. I've unsubscribed from loads of survey sites as soon as I received the last payout and with Populus being one with a minimum payout threshold of £50 and screening me out of surveys more often than not:( I thought I'd closed my account with them. Surveys from them used to arrive several times a week in my inbox but with nothing since last year it was a reasonable assumption to make that I'd closed my account. I was wrong though and have no idea why the survey invites dried up for so many months. Not only did I get to complete today's survey but it was worth £3 and I saw that I already have £31 waiting in my account since my last payout:j. Lets hope they keep sending the surveys again;)
