That is a great saving Calleyw and totally unxpected, I bet. And it sounds like you were pretty shrewd in choosing some titles that'll save you even more money!
It's funny how Pin Money sometimes multiplies itself!"By not unsettling men, you will reassure them. By unsettling men either through timidity or malice, you are always compelled to keep a knife in hand." - Niccolo Machiavelli, 1469-15270 -
Caixta,
I wasn't even looking for it. Just by chance suggested going in to the shop and another christmas present down.
It is just so great when things like that happen.
Really makes your day.
It may sound sad but it does.

Yesterday was a good vpm day for me as I got DS a cupboard from mfi using £45 of tesco deal tokens towards it. Went to asda on the way there and they were giving vouchers for bread. I took 3 and used these and 1 more for £1.75 off my shopping. The best bargains are priceless!!!!!!!!!! :T :T :T0

Calleyw it doesn't sound sad at all! Au contraire - while it is fun to plan and work hard towards things, sometimes a little bonus just pops up out of nowhere! I love it too!
When it "really makes your day" I think that is a lovely attitude to have: appreciating even the little things. (Actually £8.75 is a big thing.) Not everyone understands it. Keep it up :T"By not unsettling men, you will reassure them. aPMS: Mystery Shopping Income £9.75 + 1.05P from using a recycled gift bag for OH's father's day pressie and using a card sent home from Nursery as his card. Also approx 75p sending my Dad a homemade card.
So, June total aPMS: £15.48
vPMS: £15.50 (cashed in some tesco vouchers, and sainsburys nectar points).0 -

Thank you so much. It is so nice to know that other people don't find it sad. I can only thank you once.
As you have now made my day. LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!

To wrap up June, think I’ve just about made it…. Let’s see:
Opening aPMS balance: £15.48
Add to which:
2nd income: £39.50
Used LVs to buy 2 cups for dd: £4.00
Yet enough recycled gift bag: 50p
AND, best of all ……. underspend from the grocery budget: £3.34
Misc: £1
So, I make June PIN money to be: £63.82!!!! Yippee, £3.82 over target!!!!
(vPMS: £21.76)0 -
Set myself a target of £12 for this month - total today (not including what would be put in tomorrow as my "end of the week" spare cash) is £12.09 :jCreeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0
