Sounds like a sensible plan of OH's to cancel the Dr's - I bet they really don't want people going in full of cold at the moment!

Lovely to hear how well Old dog is getting on too!

Glad you are feeling better. Good luck with the cleaning fairies and with the pregnant dog.

Cleaning fairies have been and it was lovely to come home to. A crispy cold start to the day but did manage to get some washing dried outside.
Old girl has had her injection the preggers one didn’t have an x- ray as they were worried about her and the pups having too much radiation. I’m going to be on edge till the last one arrives. They have said that when I think she’s finished I can take her in to check she hasn’t got any stuck.

Decided not to go to badders and DS2 would drop the net off for me on his way to footy. Had an awful nights sleep, not helped by the snotty wart hog (OH) next to me.

Managed to get eBay and Amazon up to date and I’ve finally got my % rate for posting to an acceptable level after struggling with the power cuts. I did contact Amazon to explain what had happened but they weren’t interested.

Sorry that they don't take things like power cuts into account.

Hope you sleep better tonight. So glad you now have a cleaner. Wouldn't be without mine.

How ludicrous that they don't make allowances for things like power cuts L!

I know EH they asked me how I was going to stop that happening in the future....you really don't want to know my reply.  I've got £10 off a Lidl shop for hitting £200 in a month and I've decided to use that amount to spend on items to donate to Ukraine.  There's a local drop off point for donations and a list of things they need.  I wish there was more I could do but funds are a bit tight.  I do need to sit down and have a look at my spends, I've got a few extra things to pay for that haven't been factored in, mostly to do with the old girl.

I didn't go to badders in the end as I'm finding I'm shattered by the time I get home.  DS2 dropped the net off on his way to footy so it meant I could have an early bath.  OH (aka the snotty warthog) spent the night in DD2s bed.  I had a great nights sleep with the help of a Nytol.

Gosh its cold today, my hands are dropping off.  Such a contrast compared to yesterday.

Got the shopping done, gym was cancelled so got a nice early finish.  Dropped my donation off for the Ukraine appeal, wish I could do more.  Not heard anything from the plumber and crew, starting to get a bit twitchy as I've got guests next week.  I'm sure if there were any problems they'd've been in touch.  Think I'll be working most of the weekend to try and catch up with stock take.  No sign of any puppies yet.  Weather has turned very cold again.

The royal wedding mark 2 that's happening in September is driving me bonkers.  I foolishly booked the accommodation before looking at the cost of flights.  This has come back to bite me on the bottom.  The flights are expensive and train travel is a no go.  So last night I did manage to book flights at a cost of £654 to receive an email later on to say that the price had increased to £798.  I don't know what to do.  I can't cancel the accommodation as I foolishly took it on the fixed rate.  As the cost keeps spiralling I'm wondering if we should drive down.  There would still be airport parking for 2 cars and a taxi to and from the venue on the day itself.  I wish they'd eloped!
