Not yet SH. Next couple of weeks are the easiest, when their eyes open and they get mobile then it’s hard work.

Had to get DS1 some heating oil, OMG at the price £900 for 1000 litres. I’m in a dilemma because my oil tank is saying it needs feeding. We’ve turned the heating off but the oil is needed for hot water. Do I get the bare minimum or try and eke it out?  Answers on a postcard.

  • Beautiful pups...Recalling the hard work I had last year so wishing you a litter  that understand the idea of housetraining fast!!

Heating oil has increased so much...I’ve spent about £250 on 500 litres which usually lasts us the winter. This year it’s cost £370 to get 500 litres. What’s the minimum you can order? Here it’s 500 litres but I did find a company that will deliver 250 as a minimum. Unfortunately the village that I live in is 5 miles outside their delivery area 😬. Are there any companies with a more flexible minimum spend?

Beanie working beardie. There’s show Beardie’s which are the posh ones and can go to crufts then the scruffy ones which we’ve got.

HSL not sure about minimum delivery and I think it will be more expensive per litre for a small order.
Working today but only till dinner time. OH is helping a friend to move a greenhouse tomorrow.

  • Hi Lucielle, sorry about the notice, it's really pants. Puppies are absolutely beautiful😍.

Oil prices have gone bonkers, we got some before prices went up but are being really frugal with it. We also use it for hot water and some  heating as we have woodburner, it will probably get switched off completely next month and i won't even use it for hot water as we have electric showers and a dishwasher. Our friend has run out and when they tried to order some they were told they would have to wait 2 weeks for delivery usually its a couple of days wait. Can you manage to eek it out?
