Good luck with Pilates. Try it at least 20 times before reviewing if it's right for you. You will improve but it takes time.

Well that didn’t go well. Went to be assessed for the class and did some stretches etc, only to be told that she’s currently doing an intermediate class and we couldn’t be in it. I completely understand but why have us over?  Anyway she might be starting a beginner class in April and will keep our names on file. Who knew trying to find a yoga/Pilates class would be so difficult.

I’m good news old dog has got excellent blood pressure and has had her new monthly jab. Vet recommended physio over hydro as they’d give me exercises to do at home, so waiting for a referral to take her there

Gym session has got moved this week from Friday the Thursday, I’ve got to be there for 8 in the morning urgh!

Was supposed to be having the much yearned for Chinese tonight but somehow it got lost in translation that DS1 was going to get it. They’ve gone to get an Indian which is nearer ( still not the ruddy Chinese I want and crave!)

  • Great news on the doggie front - it's always good to know they're doing OK for their age isn't it!

Hoping you get your chinese soon!

That is annoying about the Pilates thing. If you've decided to dedicate some time to it anyway then how about trying some yoga off YouTube in the meantime? I'd highly recommend Yoga with Adriene - and she has a cute dog too! I struggled with her stuff first time I tried it but then tried a later series (it was the 30 Day Challenge called "Breath") and found that far easier to follow as a relative beginner.

I'll look into online but I'm a lazy creature and without nagging will probably not maintain it.  Which was the reason going with a friend was a good idea.

Went to the pub quiz last night.  DS2 and his GF were supposed to come but never turned up.  We didn't do any worse than last time and came second bottom again!  Next ones in a fortnight, I might ask my friend to come, see nearer the time.

Meeting DD1 in town today and going to the travel agents.  Hoping to book 10 days away in October for all 6 of us, current thinking is Rhodes but open to ideas.

Booked a holiday!!!  First time all 6 of us will be abroad together, going for 10 days in October.  Just need the chaps to pay for there’s. OH had a bit of a scare today. He was unloading a digger off the trailer. The pickup was in park and handbrake on, as he came down the trailer the pickup started rolling towards the road. Luckily it jackknifed.  Then A wagon came to unload a pallet and as it went past our shop it’s caught the new drainpipes we’ve just put up. They say it comes in threes I hope it’s not too drastic!

Hurrah for the Chinese, finally! Bad news about the drainpipes, hope the damage isn’t too bad, and thank goodness all ended well for OH too!

The holiday is definitely something to look forward to isn’t it!
