The electric went off again at 8.30 on Saturday night.  Still not on on Sunday morning.  We decided to go out for breakfast even though the weather was awful.  Contacted the powergrid who said it was likely to be back on by 10pm.  Went to the outdoor market, there really wasn't very much their due to the weather.  Holed up in a pub and had a few cocktails.  DD1 contacted us to say the electric had come back on.

Going away tomorrow, courtesy of the chaps and OH.  We've got 2 nights in a pod with a hot tub, then off to my favourite B&B in Keswick for 2 nights and OH has booked a night away on Sunday.  My birthday is on Saturday, I think DS1s GF will be trimming up our house as its the rule no decorations till after my b'day.  She adores Christmas and I really can't be @rsed.

DD1s BF moving date has changed to January.  I was hoping to get my house back for Christmas, even the ceilings would be good.  Contacted the agent re those and he's hoping to get something done.  Lights would also be helpful!
