Not sure I’ll get to play with it. I’m never allowed on the gadgets!! I’m not sure if it’s the inner mercenary in me but always fancied having a play with a nail gun……

Managed to finish the row of bulbs I was planting. Still got loads to go in but that’s not going to be today as the weather is dreich, dire, !!!!!!. I’ll be lucky if I manage to take the bin for a walk! Might save that for when OH is home and sit in the boot of Gary Golf and drag it up.
Glad we got this section of blockwork finished last night, as nothing will be done today due to weather.
Need to price up damp proof lining stuff not sure what the technical term is but we need it to line the raised beds. That’s on the list for tomorrow. Also need to check if the raised beds need painting with some bitumen type paint before putting damp proof lining stuff in. Need to check what the correct ratio is for mixing the render and make sure we’ve enough cement. Then need to find the pit of gold to pay for it all. After all this rain there must be a rainbow 🌈 somewhere!!

The on going bulb saga. Past me was obviously drawn to all the pretty pictures. Past me also thought giant snowdrops marvellous! Past me thought giant snowdrops grow 30cm max! Present me read the blurb and these things are ruddy triffids, snowdrops on crack cocaine. They grow to 50-70cm!!! If I put them in the front of the border as planned everything else is going to have an inferiority complex!! If I plant them in the lawn I’m going to have to put GPS trackers on the dogs so I can find them!! I’ve got 75 of the bu&&ers to plant. But not today
