Glad that you have progress on the kitchen and that your DD helped. I am amused lucielle said:
Still need DD1 and the hallway skimmed but not bothered if that's into the new year.

I called in at work yesterday and left my handbag there, so going to have to go today to get it. There’s a few things in the sales that would do for Christmas 2022.

Weather is wet today so probably only a short walk, my feet hurt today. Tomorrow I have an appointment at the hoof doctor

    Hope the hoof doctor helps...

Buying for xmas 2022 already? I used to do that - no spare pennies currently - plus avoiding in person shopping - so I think less bargains available.

Hoof doctor has some fired me over to biometrics for now and operation not required. Only bought things online that I’d be buying anyway

Was going to take the hounds to the beach but the weather is truly awful so didn’t bother. Got another long walk planned for tomorrow and the forecast is slightly better

Got some friends coming for lunch on Friday. Going to cook a ham in the slow cooker overnight on Thursday and then do a honey and mustard topping to finish off in the oven followed by an apple and raspberry crumble with custard or cream. I think DD1, bf and DS2 will be joining us

Yes it is good news as the operation would mean messing with some joints in my foot which could create other problems.  It does mean that when I do a big walk like the other day, I have to be prepared to be crippled the next day, which I was.  Lots of ice packs needed.

Sorry it causes so much pain. Well done for pushing through - the views look like they were worth it.
