Still no change on the mum front, being nursed in bed.


Went to see Mamma Mia 2 on Saturday, really enjoyed it.


DDs are back from Zante today. We're having Christmas today as DD2 leaves on Sunday for NZ. I'm cooking a chicken and I've got a little tree and the presents that I've accumulated so far are wrapped and ready to go under.


I've also decided to get rid of all the curtains I was hoarding. A friends son has moved out with his family so I'm passing them onto her today. Whilst I was in the mood I tidied out a cupboard of doom, got some stuff to try and get valued at the antiques shop and some charity shop stuff to go.

Been to see my mum, who actually seemed a bit brighter.


I'm in bits at the moment as DD2 left yesterday (I was ok then) but now she's actually at the airport (she flies from Heathrow) I'm not ok.

Big hugs L. Watching your mum deteriorate must be so hard, and with DD going away too, I bet you feel wrecked. Take care of yourself.

In other news, I've managed to find the email trail for the missing money. The banks couldn't get anywhere (not surprised) so it has been reported to the Action Fraud hotline as advised by the police.

DD2 seems to have landed on her feet, her new employers have got her waterproofs, wellies and milking jacket. She face timed us and we had a look round her house which looks lovely. They've also sorted out her sim card for her phone and got her NZ bank account up and running. Today they were taking her for a family meal.

I'm ok now. I think. At least I can talk about her without welling up.

Hi Beanie, mum is still hanging on. She never did things the easy way!


Should've kept my trap shut about the card. Just put £120 on for a vets bill. Got 90 quid saved in the vets pot so should get it cleared.
