Just a heads up to anybody reading. I took a phone call from 'BT' yesterday. They said my IP address had been compromised and it needed changing from public to private. I was sceptical and asked for their address, which I checked and it did relate to BT. They said the firewall on Amazon was weak (DD1 had ordered something so I thought that might've triggered something) Anyway I continued with caution on the phone. It was when they asked me to download teamviewer that I told them I thought it was a bogus call and to give me their number and I'd phone them back. They did give me their number so I phoned BT using a number off my BT invoice. The lady said they would never use teamviewer and they wouldn't know about IP addresses. I think I dodged a curve ball.

Be careful peeps they were very good.

Still no news from the bank regarding the cash, still keeping fingers crossed.

Had to get the oil tank replaced at the north house. That was a bit stressful as only had 1 day left to get it purchased and installed. Thanks to some lovely people they got it up and running.

Had a phone call from my mums care home to say that she'd deteriorated and thought I'd better go and see her. Drove down on Sunday night and popped in for 10 mins. She was in bed and was really tired. The next day she was up but she's lost so much weight and kept nodding off all the time. She's not eating even though they're trying her with all the foods she likes.

My oldest sister arrived at the same time as the doctor. They're going to reduce her painkillers as that can have a sedative effect and reassess today. We both had a cry in her room. She hasn't been mum for a long time and as harsh as it sounds it will be a relief when the time comes. She doesn't know who I am and I have to tell her. Heart-breaking

Have completed a form for my mum called a preferred place to stay, which basically means that she'll not be hospitalised and no anti Bs given intravenously, to allow nature to take its course. Feel like I'm on a knife edge waiting for a call.

Anyway the debt position is as follows:
    965 Barclays
2399.31 M&S (got 1333.86 to knock when the money comes in for this months rentals to pay for new tank)
    1720 Lloyds
    1425 Santander
    925 HSBC

the total is 7434.31. Under 10k at last. Hope to blitz the M&S card by September and then put the car on it. Great

Phoned the home today, she hasn't really improved with the change of medication. Not eating again and they decided to nurse her in bed.
