Bother about the job - as said though, good experience anyway, the next one will feel less daunting.

DS1 and family have made it home along with the pup. OH really didn’t want to let her go and was desperate for me to say I wanted to keep her. I said it was up to him and he needed to make that decision. I didn’t mind either way.
Dropped DD1s tyre at the garage to be fixed and then collected the Morrisons shopping.

What a busy 2 weeks we’ve had. That’s all the chaps home safe and sound. Last Saturday we did archery and then went to the local show. On Wednesday went to watch the local Highland Games, OH knew the lady on the gate and we got in for free. Since last Sunday it has rained. The weather this year has been dire.
Today we ordered cement, blocks, sand and reinforced bars to lay a concrete pad in front of the garage. We’ll buy in a wagon load of cement rather than trying to do it ourselves. Not sure when as we need good weather. Bought some more plants and some mouse deterrent as the chap serviced the boiler (it’s outside) and noticed mouse activity.

Nearly finished. Just waiting for the bulbs to arrive. Debating whether to put trellis along the back boards instead of wires but worried about the wind.
