One down, one to go! Kept myself occupied, just cooking a roast for tea.

  • Wow, that’s a very productive day!

I’m probably being thick but when you talk about ‘pods’ with work, what do you mean? Like garden office pods?

Not being thick, more like glamping pods, shepherds hut type things.

Ha! I've just been scratching my head about the pods, because I'd posted on another thread about coffee pods!

What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?
  • Ah, mystery solved! 😁

Would they be on your property, like Airbnb? Or you’re building them for others?
I’ve only ever ‘glamped’ once but was impressed how sturdy they were and definitely felt more luxurious than a tent but still in quiet surroundings

They would be on our property but have their own entrance to keep it separate from our house. It’s still at the head scratching stage. We’ve flirted with this idea for a couple of years.

Gosh it’s hard being a plant mum. My Bird of Paradise plant has got mealy bugs so that’s been segregated to a room of its own. Princess peace lily is behaving at the moment and has decided that she will bless us with some flowers. She’s been inspected and I can’t see any on her but I’ll keep my eye on her!

  • Sounds like a great idea, especially with own entrance!
I am incapable of keeping plants alive 😂

The first of my plant orders has arrived, caught the puppy trying to use it as a toy!! Can’t plant it out just yet as I’m waiting for the back row plants to be delivered. They should be here in 2 weeks. I still need to do a planting diagram which I’ll do this weekend.

OH has chopped some more logs so hopefully I’ll split them this weekend and fill the other box. It’ll be a bit like Groundhog Day!

There’s a job advertised which I think I’m going to apply for. It’s for a full and part time vacancy. I’ve sent an initial email to see what days the part time hours are and it is a Thursday and Friday. That would cover the time at the b&b and it would give me my evenings back. It pays more than both my current jobs. I did think about the full time role as technically I would be full time but working from home means the dogs aren’t on their own all week. So I do need to sit down and do my cv. I’m really not good at selling myself. I can do it for other people but me not a chance!

There’s lots of ironing to do, so I’ll go in a bit earlier. I can’t go in early tomorrow as I’m getting my nails done.
