Its autumnal here today, I had to dig out my winter jacket when I went out. Been so windy the plants have really suffered, think the courgette and cucumbers are beyond recovery :(
I travelled to Benbecula via Skye a couple of months ago and the journey through Skye was the only wet part of all the week in the Outer Hebrides.

18 degrees and drizzly here in the NW, allegedly we're going to reach the dizzy heights of 25 degrees later in the week. I'll believe it when I see it, won't be putting my big coat away any time soon 😂

Those that have nice weather enjoy! Those of us with soggy feet, I’ll pass you an umbrella. It truly is biblical out there. There’s waterfalls flowing I never knew existed!
Beanie we’ve lit the stove last week and probably will again this week. It’s July! Had to put the big light on in the kitchen to cook tea.

We’re in SE and it’s looking like 30-33 all week 😭
I’m a maximum 26 kind of girl, so I’m not too happy about it 😔. As long as I’m near my trusty sh@rk fan, it’ll be fine….

Played pickleball last night. Slowly getting the hang of it but still prefer badders. I’m going to whisper that on the weather app we might be having a couple of days of no precipitation!! So now begs the question do we stay home on Saturday and crack on with outdoor jobs or go and watch the shinty?
Sunday will be a write off as OH will want to watch Wimbledon. Busy week at job 1. Lots of new stuff that I’ve had to jump on and be proactive. Glad it got to 5 and I could knock off.
Attempted to clean out the top pool of the stream and OH mended the areator that’s in there as he strimmed the wire so that’s bubbling away.
Meeting a friend for lunch tomorrow before start work at job 2. I was supposed to be going to the doctors but the appointment has been moved.

We are bad grandparents. Bought DGD tickets to see Peppa Pig for Christmas at the theatre. Had an oh 💩moment and checked my emails only to realise it was in June! Message son and gf to apologise and they thought it was July! I know DS1 won’t let me hear the last of this
