Frustrating about your ex housekeeper. Glad you had a break - it really does help. Well done on upping the payment too. Good to hear that the puppies are doing well

Been and sorted new housekeeper, gone with a business this time so hopefully everything will go smoothly eye poppingly expensive.  It does mean the gaps that were being left on the booking system for previous housekeeper can now be filled.  Did manage to go and climb a hill whilst we were there Hopefully some puppies away this weekend.

Puppies all gone, enjoying the peace and quiet of having 3 dogs.  I have bought the old collie a new cage as the other one was a bit small.  When I measured her from her  nose to tail base she was 3 foot long, that was a surprise.  Paid off barclaycard, so only got the family credit overpayment to get rid of which I increased.  Resisting the temptation to look a seconhand cars

At least you don’t pay interest on the family credit overpayment. Good news on the BC.

Currently on hold to Barclaycard trying to cancel it.  I cancelled my Lloyds one the other day.  I'm going to keep my M&S one as I get vouchers to use.  Currently saving these to do a Christmas food shop.  DD1 is away for a milking job interview, hope that goes ok.  Spent a large fortune on new bedding for the north house, the existing stuff is getting a bit tired.  Hoping to go up for 2 weeks in November, one of the weeks we wanted got booked this morning, must block the others off.  It looks like the landlord is finally going to do our driveway.  It wont be done properly ie drained and tarmaced but it will be ok for a couple of years.  To open your car door and not step in mud or a puddle will be bliss.
We're going away for a couple of nights next week for our wedding anniversary.  OH knows he's away but not where we're going.
